“Since everything in this town closes at 9:00, I decided to try this place out. I ordered a torta and Gordita, but they were out of gorditas so I grabbed 3 mini tacos. The meats are all prepared ahead and you can see them in the steam tray. Enjoyed everything, but the asada on the torta didn’t have a lot of flavor. Mini tacos were really good and the green salsa hit just right. Felt it was a good meal for the price I paid.“

“Wow! Stopped by here after leaving Houston to find a hotel after hurricane beryl. Needed a warm meal and this place did not disappoint! Very very authentic Mexican food. The decor was very nice. The owners out a lot of love into this place. The food will take a little while to get to you, but let me tell you, the wait is worth it! The food tastes like a good home cooked meal with fresh ingredients. Good flavor on the steak meat. The chicharron was flavorful and all the tortillas were homemade. Give this place a try!“

“This was our first time at the new location and we loved it! Great food, great drinks, and great service Carmela's gets a 10 out of 10 from my family. The waitress was amazing checking on us often, refilling our drinks before they got low, as well as interacting with our 3yr old daughter who loves to talk! The manager came by our table and checked on us to make sure everything was perfect. He is the one who told me I should try this weeks special the ceviche! “La Catina. Yes we address this with management. If you'd like to feel dismissed and like the laughing stock. Please visit this establishment. They know exactly how to hear that your food is incorrect and then laugh at you while you are leaving the restaurant. Furthermore, while you have the courage to discuss the matter with the hostess the wait staff is will continue laughing at you. We did request to speak to the manager. The hostess had more compassion. We were offer a coupon for our next visit. We declined. No meal removed or refunded. We love to visit local establishments and support as often as we can. I hope things will improve and no one else is made to feel this way.“

Nachos Ole, a soggy no flavor having mess, very depressing 😞. Server was excellent. Casa Ole is overall a little depressing compared to its HeyDay in the 80's. We came down to visit family in south Texas and on our way home I needed some good authentic Mexican tacos and tried this place before we got out of Texas. This place is a 10/10. The tacos were amazing, the sauces (red & green) are phenomenal! This will be a stop we make every time we travel through. Thank you for great food and good service! & great prices!“

“The inside is decorated very pretty very festive. The food was decent. Amount of customers that was in the restaurant at the time, it took a little bit more time than it should in our opinion. Service was slow. Not sure why because there wasn’t many people in the restaurant. Good place for a good memory . This place is walking distance from many hotels.“

Chips and salsa were served as well, you could tell they were fresh. I went for their Appetizer Sampler, must say I enjoyed. I highly recommend it if you don’t ever know what to get. “Was really suprised, about the cooking and food taste, after passing this place for several months! I ordered two chicken soft tacos on flour tortillas, with everything on it, all for $7.00, with tax. When it came out, I opened only to salt the tacos. I loved the presentation of the sauteed serrano pepper, and onion. It came with salsa on it, but it had the dark salsa (The One That Is Really Hot,) which I ate on my two tacos. I will be going back!“

“I came on April 9th 2024. On a Tuesday.They make sure they give u enough ingredients and are not stingy with it. They make u actually taste the flavor of the food. My order was hot as well. Great customer service. Great job overall. I wanna to give appreciation to Lauren R and the African American Girl there in the drive thru. They were the best great attitudes and made me wanna come back everytime. The person who was making the food sold me. They made the food look like the pictures and taste wonderful. This was the best Taco Bell I ever been to. I will be back everytime I come to Port Neches
