Denny's in Porter

“We had a great experience at the Denny’s in Porter on US-59. Anna was our waitress, and she did an excellent job. She was very attentive, took our order quickly, kept everything moving, and our food came out on time.

One thing that really stood out to me was how prepared and professional she seemed. She made several suggestions and offered a few add-ons while taking our order, and we actually took her up on two of them. Having worked in retail before, I know that kind of upselling takes training, discipline, and a willingness to really engage with customers instead of just going through the motions. Anna did it naturally without being pushy and genuinely seemed willing to serve.

The manager was great as well, the food was excellent, and the entire restaurant was clean and well taken care of. The atmosphere felt like a Denny’s that has good leadership and a team that takes pride in the place.

Great job to Anna, the manager, and the whole crew. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Nothing beats breakfast from Denny's. The day I went to try their breakfast, I was not expecting such great service. Usually, when restaurants are busy in the morning, the workers can seem stressed or rushed. However, my experience was completely different because of Carlos and the way he treated the customers. From the moment I sat down, Carlos greeted me with a positive attitude and made me feel welcome. He was respectful, patient, and always made sure I had everything I needed. Even though the restaurant was busy, he stayed calm and continued helping everyone with a smile. The food was good, but the service Carlos provided made the experience even better. He checked on me often and made sure my drink and meal arrived on time. Overall, my visit to Denny’s was much better than I expected. Carlos did an amazing job and showed what great customer service looks like. Because of his kindness and professionalism, I would gladly return for breakfast again.“
