“I just ate here for the first time today and I have to say it was wonderful! The staff is so kind, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere was simple beauty. I had the beef enchiladas and they were fantastic! My wife had the mango margarita which was wonderful. We really are fortunate to have this gem right here in Portland, Texas. If you haven't tried it, you really need to!“

I really want to thank the team there because I have had perfect orders and such kind team members when I know those late nights can be difficult. “Figured I'd have a light meal and go with the Nachos. Not a chance, plate was huge and delicious and I simply opted for the seasoned ground beef. I unapologetically indulged! My buddy had the Fiesta platter and WOW, he said it tasted amazing also. Would HIGHLY recommend!! Oh yeah, I tried out the churro just because I WAS indulging, it was definitely a proper churro.“

“I’ve had their food about 10 times. All late night and all random times. I’ve had just about everything on their menu and everything they have is absolutely amazing. I’m from the valley and im use to food from Mexico since my family is from there. I have yet to find anything in Corpus Christi that reminds me of home and this literally feels like it’s out of my grandmas kitchen. The family that owns this business is the sweetest too. Love this place. 10/10 would recommend“

“This for me is the absolute best Tex-Mex restaurant I have ever had. The beans are incredible and they have homemade tortillas. I've eaten Mexican, Tex-Mex all over Texas, California, New Mexico & other states. Even in cities. Besides my grandmother's cooking, this is the BEST. When I say I want Mexican food, this is exactly what I mean. I have to DoorDash every day cause I work out of town. And this is the best I've had. Can't give enough praise! It's delicious!!!!“

“I'm from Dallas. Was in Corpus for a work Conference and tried them out for lunch. Not even scared to over hype them... These were the best Birria Tacos I've ever had. And Dallas has some pretty good spots. The Seasoning on the Mac and Cheese gave it a real unique taste that I VERY MUCH enjoyed. And that Green House Salsa they had for the Tacos 🔥🔥🔥 A super filling plate and only $13!? They need to open up a spot in the DFW cus I obviously can't drive 6 hours, but I would definitely drive up to 45 mins for this.“

“Stopped by after my trip to Lowes grocery store. Ordered 3 Carne guisada tacos. I have to say the flour tortillas are awesome. The tacos tasted excellent. The beef was tender and flavorful. Plus it's super affordable. It was like 9 dollars for everything. If you're inTaft stop here for a quick bite to eat. You're going to love it. Plus its very clean, and cool. Temperature wise. And the staff is super friendly. A+ Service.“

“I saw on my Google timeline I've been here 176 times?.....that should say a lot. I love the waitresses, the owner and her staff are courteous, nice and the food comes out fast and delicious. Plenty of parking. One of the best hidden gems ? taqueria/ taco spot/ tamale plug when your in town and want some good tacos or Mexican food in a laid back atmosphere. If you're coming for lunch the beef enchiladas are a 10/10 ??“

“I like to buy my taco’s there in the morning but the only thing I don’t like is that they give you preheated flour tortillas it happens three time and I stop going there than I went his morning and try them again and they still gave me preheated tortillas from yesterday while the lady making fresh tortillas I hope they can change that everything else is very good food but I’ll drop again sometime next week and try them again !“
