“So nice to find a free standing Long John Silvers with a full menu. Awesom staff. Our food came out hot and fast. Everything was delicious. They even came out to check on our order as we were eating. It was not crowded when we were there. My wife's only complaint was the slippery floor in the restroom.“

“Went thru drive thru. Overall good... A bit of a wait for the blizzards, ordered tacos, burger fries, drinks, that piece of our order came out right away. Lady at window was great just took longer than expected for the blizzards. Tropical blizzards always my fave♡ Food is good, tacos are so small tho for $10. Maybe add another taco..?“

“My mom ordered cheese sticks and a burger. The cheese sticks were great but the burger was soggy and greasy so she asked if it could be made again and the worker was very obviously annoyed and kinda gave attitude when they came back. Other than that everything was great.“

“I had an amazing experience here, especially thanks to the owner who personally helped me. From the moment I walked in, they were super hospitable and made me feel genuinely welcome. It was actually my birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it special.

The sandwich was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. You can tell they really care about quality and customer experience. The service and attitude were top tier the whole time.

“Just came to the Mercedes location the workers were great I feel that there pay is too little on what they have to do they go inside charge but I can’t give them a tip cause I don’t have a option on the receipt another thing is notice that a lot of the items have gone up in price if your gonna increase the prices increase the workers pay as well I use to work in the progreso location and it hasn’t changed where you put the large pan of water you cook up the meat and you put the meat in the water and you leave it there until somebody orders the meals then you just reheat the meat and you sell it not fresh at all you guys need to change that method your gonna get somebody sick or killed from food poisoning this is why I don’t ever get any burgers from stars cause of the way you cook them and people who are gonna read this it is the truth and I have friends who work there as well and tell me the same thing“

“I'd like to give a shout-out to the gentleman who prepared my sandwich this evening at 8pm on 10/24/24. He provided exceptional customer service, paying close attention to detail. It’s rare to see such care, and it made my experience stand out. I’ll definitely be coming back! It’s always nice to encounter great customer service at a restaurant.“

“This location is always so busy, yet the staff is very efficient at getting you what you need quickly. I usually order on the app, and they normally find me before I get to the front of the line. My only advice is on getting to the location. It's cumbersome to enter through the expressway, and if you miss the entrance, you have to circle back around the block. I'd recommend going in through the car wash on Texas Blvd. Parking is very limited here as there isn't enough space for all the patrons that try to dine in. This location is, again, very busy. So take out is the best choice here. Make sure to use the app and order ahead.“

“Fresh, hot and delicious were the pizzas I got. A pepperoni regular crust and a thin and crispy. There was a little mix up on my order but the employees there were really prompt and got my order corrected. Very friendly staff and very clean and organized location.“

“I love this location they're always so friendly and my food doesn't look like they gave me someone's left overs lol. I'm from Edcouch Elsa but I rather drive to Weslaco for the service and quality of food.“

“Stopped by after doing some downtown vintage store browsing in Weslaco. Many times when I need more protein, I’ll drop by and grab the 1/2 lb roast beef plain and devour the meat. Quick high protein go to when I’m in a rush and have to grab a quick out there bite. The food is very fresh and the staff is amazing and helpful. The place isn’t very busy but I can appreciate how clean and accommodating they are. I’m glad there’s at least one of these available in the valley. ❤️❤️“

“It is nice to see Churchs get back to making fried chicken like they used to. This neighborhood location is convenient and is much improved since 2021 when we moved here. I was driving to Weslaco for better chicken until last year and decided to give them another try. Glad I did.
My only advice would be to try and make sides fresh to insure a desirable temperature and texture.“

Additionally, kudos to Ms. Grecia for using her skills as a fluent bilingual speaker to respectfully take the orders if both English and Spanish speaking customers. Her grammar and use if formal Spanish was greatly appreciated by the Spanish speaking couple that had trouble ordering from the English only menu. Now that was going above and beyond to help provide a nice dining experience. Last but not least, kudos to the female manager on shift for professionally handling the grumpy customer who was super picky about wanting bigger fresher pieces of chicken. He got what he wanted, but the manager clearly and politely explained that they could accommodate his request, but it would be about 10 to 20.minutes for a new batch. She politely thanked him for his patience.“

They always have a great playlist playing, which makes the atmosphere feel really fun and enjoyable instead of just another fast food place. The food is consistently so good, fresh, flavorful, and honestly delicious every single time. Everything always tastes amazing, and it never disappoints. “I choose to drive to this location for Subways because it is the one in town that always is the best. Having said that something has changed and I am hoping they work it out soon. The restaurant is clean, the staff is pretty friendly, but ordering outside at the kiosk is kind of wonky at best. If you make a mistake you just have to live with it because once you pull up the staff doesn't come and greet you immediately. I really hope they read this and check in more readily. I needed to switch a veggie and had to just deal with it and go home and make the change there. I have always loved this location and all the staff here, but like I said something has changed. Maybe it's just me, but unfortunately I will be taking a break from Subways and we used to go 2-3 times a week.“
