I was in Dallas on business, staying at the Westin a few blocks away. It was my last night, I was tired, had an early flight in the morning, and just wanted a quick meal to take back to the room. A quick search showed this fried catfish spot nearby… so yeah, say less.

Have tried the hot link/catfish filet combo twice and both times the links are overcooked/dried out. The fish is good which is expected. They advertised a new phone number on their flyers but they never answer so unable to place an order.
I’m all for supporting our BO businesses. My experience here was outstanding from the time I entered into the building. I felt welcomed and that I mattered. We were told there wasn’t any fillets but when I tell you they made it right. I felt like they were adamant about making it right. I had been wanting to try them ever since they were flopping around in Oak Cliff and I finally made it from GP to here. The fish is fresh, seasoned, and fried to perfection. The portion size is reasonable and enough for leftovers. The food is put in a plastic container to prevent sogginess. The restaurant offers delivery and has made regular customers out of many people. The cat fish and fries are a great combination, but the fries need to be crispy. Overall, BEST THING FLOPPING is a great place to try, especially for fish lovers.
