the best tacos around hands down I go there to three times a week

Diego’s Taqueria is a fast and friendly place inside a gas store. They serve delicious barbacoa taco plates that bring fond memories of RGV. The staff is welcoming, and the taco plates with rice and beans are A+. Customers praise the lean and tender meat, fluffy rice, and refreshing hibiscus water. The breakfast tacos are highly recommended, praised for being amazing and served quickly by kind staff. The habanero salsa is notably spicy and flavorful. Many customers mention that the food is always fresh and tasty, with favorites like torta, quesadillas, gorditas, and tacos. The menu also includes picadillo tacos, trompo tacos, milanesa torta, and chicken quesadilla, all described as very delicious. Salsas are spicy and add great flavor, making the food a strong competitor to other local taco spots. The restaurant is appreciated for its fast service, good food, and is considered a go-to place for many.
