“We went to Wildwood hoping for a really good chicken fried steak, and boy were we disappointed. First of all it was extremely noisy especially for 2:00 on a Sunday. But hoping for the best we stayed and decided to try to spinach artichoke dip. It comes out looking almost like a French onion soup, the top covered with cheese and looks great! However we would have been better off opening a tub from Sam's Club as the one at this restaurant had no flavor whatsoever, you couldn't even make out what it was. We were hungry so we ate it. Next our meals come out. The chicken fried steak was huge, well plated, and looked amazing! Too bad that was as good as it got. It was tender, yet absolutely no flavor at all. My hubby had to drench it in salt & pepper and tobasco to give it any taste. I tried a piece and was extremely disappointed. My meal, the Atlantic Salmon was cooked to my specifications which was a pleasant surprise. Yet it appears the chef counts on the grill to contribute all flavor instead of any seasoning. The basmati rice was nothing more than what I could have prepared at home in a steamer, and as for the jicama slaw, which I was looking forward to trying was unimpressive. Fortunately a small part of the bowl had a smidgen of tomatilla sauce which I used to give the food a little flavor....not much but something. Overall, we spent $61.00 on food that would have been better almost anywhere else at a fraction of the cost. Not worth it, sorely disappointed and will not return. The one thing that is a positive about the restaurant is the staff. Service was excellent. Not impressed at all.“

Our location is catering only- if you are looking for dining in or getting something to go, please contact or visit our original restaurant on Inwood Rd just east of Harry Hines; or our Lovers Lane, West End, or Richardson locations.“

“Tried this place for the first time today!!! First i would like to mention Ced i believe was his name! That man has impeccable customer service, the food was good but his customer service was top tier! Greeted me, i let him know it was my first time and he walked me through it all, i ordered and he assured me i would be returning! Food was amazing and i was able to watch the game while i ate! Was checked on to make sure everything was great! My experience was rare these days! You don’t find restaurants that have good food and great customer service! “Got the fatty brisket and ribs and some sides to go . Dino ribs were out when I got there.
My opinion - it’s better than Hutchins!! So juicy, tender and seasoned just right! 4 stars for service because I waited long time for my order, maybe 15 - 30 minutes. Not sure why it took that much time. But it won’t deter me from getting more BBQ there. Lol“
