I’ve turned into a tamale hunter, visiting every single location and buying out whatever they have in stock. Biting into one is like sinking into a warm, soft pillow of rich cheese and seasoned chicken. Nothing else in the Valley even compares. we desperately need a Parra’s in McAllen or Mission

Nikki at the Rio Hondo Paras Tamales is always cheerful and kind. I also like that she is quick so that I am not late for work, while at my lunch break. The tamales are delicious and I love that I can preorder menudo or specialty tamales.
