“Our first time to visit, we were on the way home from Austin and needed to get a bite to eat. It did NOT disappoint! I had the cheeseburger with fries, excellent! My husband had the Cowboy Up (hamburger steak with grilled onions and jalapeños) with green beans and friea, also excellent. For appetizers we had fried pickles and bottle caps (fried jalapeños) and both were very good. Its not a fancy or upscale place at all, just a really great place to eat. Highly recommend!!“
“It was my first time at Texas Burger. The food was ok.. nothing really special. The burger was seasoned and the fries were seasoned adequately. I’ve had better burgers at different places. If you’re starving, can’t wait,and you’re traveling then this the place for you. The place was really worn down and it shares a space with Subway. A double burger cost 15.99 so it was really expensive. Will I be back?? That depends on if I really want mediocre burger..“
“Rockdale, TX - I was driving through Rockdale. After driving 5 hours from Lousiana. I turned off my car, ordered a caramel ice cream shake, and added coffee. It was great, and every employee was top-notch!!! When I tried to start my car to leave, it would not start. Lamont, the manager and all the employees went out of their way to help me. Lamont, the manager was very professional and went out of his way to call a friend for jumper cables, another employee found some cables and a customer came over with a jumper box. Lamont, the manager was a great manager, multitasking courteous, and went above and beyond!!! Thank you!!!“
“I keep getting caught off guard when it comes to fast food restaurants. Decent same food as always and the service was slow but thats to be expected from DQ. $60 plus some change for 4 people. Ouch. Hard to recommend spending that amount for a fast food restaurant. Otherwise, It was like most “
“we've gotten several burgers that were either both top buns or both bottoms buns. I will say they are fast and friendly. There was one lady that worked there and said what do u want on the speaker and we talked to the manager and she fixed it right “
“Nice looking building and fun atmosphere. You do have to go to the front to order but they bring it to your table. Their smash burgers were juicy and delicious. Unfortunately their homemade chips were cut too thick making them soggy not crisp. Great beer selection. We will go again but order the fries or onion rings!“
