Charlotte Plummer Reviews
Went for lunch today, first time ever, ordered stuffed shrimp, baked potato and shrimp gumbo. The shrimp gumbo was good and hot and after that it all went downhill. Stuffed shrimp would have been really good if they were hot and the baked potato was cold, so I asked for another baked potato which they brought out and it was cold. My girlfriend ordered Chicken fried steak and it was cold as was her baked potato. We will never go back...
For one the oldest Quality Seafood restaurants in Rockport, TX.

Was optimistic to try for 1st time on a Tuesday evening. Restaurant was Not busy during spring break should have been a clue. Total time at restaurant = 3hours!!!
Our waitress spills tray of beers on guest- offers him those terrible dry brown paper towels that absorb nothing to clean himself off, and it goes downhill from there.
Takes over 30+ minutes to even see water being served to our table of 7.
Everyone ordered a soup or salad- only 2 guests got served the soup...read full review

Charlotte Plummer is a go-to seafood restaurant that offers a mixed dining experience with a nice laid back atmosphere and generally good service. While the waitress received praise for her excellent service and personality, the overall food quality was inconsistent. The soft shell crab and calamari appetizers were well-received, but the shrimp gumbo had an unusual tangy taste. The shrimp platter and chargrilled platter were criticized for being overcooked, with the fish described as tough. However, the scallops and fried oysters were cooked well, and the fish tacos were wonderful. The restaurant's tartar sauce was also disappointing. The menu is extensive and everything we've had has been good quality, and the salad bar is great. Despite the mixed reviews, the restaurant seems to be a favorite among some regular customers, who enjoy the shrimp gumbo, fried shrimp, and crab cakes.
