I was one of the first few people to show up after it opened today and asked for some moist brisket. The guy behind the counter said "Man I'm sorry we are out of the moist we only have lean at the moment". I told him it was fine and went to sit down and eat the lean brisket (which was great).About 5 mins later he brought me out an entire portion of moist brisket in addition to the lean he gave me originally . 3 stars bc they are friendly. But the bbq isn’t worth stopping. The brisket looked and tasted likes Arby’s roast beef. No bark or smoke ring. I asked for sliced flat, it’s possible they thought that meant cut off any fat??

Always great food and good people. I love the chopped beef loaded baker and traditional sauce. They also have very good fried okra, but you have to request the okra...it's made to order.We also really enjoy the ribs, spicy cabbage, and sausage.Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options.
