“We had a gathering here, and they were incredible; really great across the board. Communicated very well, and let us know when our budgeted amount for refreshments came. The buffet was kept stocked, and we were only charged for what was put out. Very few leftovers. We would absolutely endorse Monte's for group events.“
“My go-to place for beers in Katy! Plenty of choice, always something new to try even for a very sophisticated drinker! The food is good for a bar - nice selection of appetizers and quick bites for a couple or a big company. Nice staff, cozy atmosphere, pleasant crowd, live music on Fridays and Saturdays. I wish this place existed 20 years ago so I might have spent more quality time here and not wasted it checking-out other subpar places elsewhere :-) Kuralay - the host - is very attentive and welcoming, keeping the whole place on the top level of expectations!“

“Food and staff were excellent. They took great care of the party of people who I was with. Giant pretzel was so good. All appetizers were top notch. There pizza was made fresh right in front of us. I had the shrimp tacos and will definitely be getting them again. Great place to watch sports with giant screen and many TVs all over the restaurant. Their drinks were priced right and very good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to try out something different!!Parking: Location is on the corner. Easy to find a spot to park.“

“Came for the Wednesday crawfish special to check it out for the first time, our server Kyle was super helpful about the add ons (corn, sausage, extra spicy, etc…) and wow we were not disappointed! Will definitely be back next Wednesday as long as Kyle has an open table for us!“
“Wednesday's steak special will bring us back! The steaks were perfectly prepared for both of us (med well and med rare) and were so tender and flavorful! The service was friendly even though there only seemed to be 2 front of the house staff doing it all. It's pretty bare bones in terms of decor, but you could tell regulars felt appreciated and comfortable. We're excited to try other offerings like the chicken wings next time (1/2 price on Tuesday!).“
“This is definitely one of those places that dances the line between being a bar that serves food and a restaurant with a bar. I say that because they do both well. It's got that vibe when you walk in that you feel someone is going to yell "NORM!" When the next guy walks in. It's also got some chops in the kitchen. On the waiter's recommendation had the "Not'cha Grandma's Grilled Cheese" which is a delicious burger and fried onions between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. One cheese/jalapeno and one "bacon jam/cheese." It was freaking ridiculous...ridiculously delicious. I split it with my wife. While we were there a young singer-songwriter played some music. She played some originals and covered a few. Was slightly loud in the space, but this is when we remind ourselves... this is a bar... and bravo for them supporting live music. My kiddos split a "Big Boss Hog" burger... which has Cole slaw & pulled pork atop the burger. We also had fried pickles because... well... yum. Good beer on tap, great food on plates and nice bar/pub atmosphere.“
“Delicious buffet!! By the end of my dinner, I tried every single thing they had and it was all beautifully seasoned. The meat was tender and of good quality—and I’m picky too! The baba ghanoush, chicken wings, baked eggplant, rice, chicken curry, tabouleh, grilled veggies, and iced tea were some of my favorite. Seriously can’t go wrong AT ALL!!! “We came for brunch on a Sunday and got there right when opening at 11:00. It did not get busy until around noon. The mimosas were good and the brunch menu was decent. I had the chicken and waffles and it was really good and a good portion. We were going to sit outside but it was a little chilly in January so we opted to sit right by the fire inside. They have plenty of TV's and a good bar area. This would be a fun place to watch a game when the weather is nice because the patio is huge.“

“First time and figure give it a try with their crawfish special.Crawfish season hasn’t been great this year so not really their fault. Some were decent size but others were tiny.Got the no spice level and was still pretty flavorful. I think I’ve determined I just don’t like this style of crawfish. I’m more of a butter and garlic which gives it a bit more depth of flavor.Pork skins were good.I would recommend the staff put a roll of paper towels and offer gloves for their crawfish guests. Had to ask for napkins as we had no place settings.Had a dj playing music and wait staff was nice enough to change the channel to the basketball game.“

The food is good , my dad likes it very much .I usually patronize because a family member(mom or dad) wants to eat at Joe's Oyster bar.I like dark dining atmosphere with intimate lighting.I will always go to Joe's when any family members want a great chicken fried steak .“
