“New TASTY boba shop in Richmond! My Vietnamese coffee and boba are good/strong!!! I am picky about my tapioca and Richmond does not have a good tapioca location. I’m so happy Tea-Amo Boba House opened here!!! The staffs were quick with my order and friendly. Definitely my new go to tapioca shop and cute atmosphere!!! :)“

“I ordered a matcha smoothie and a milk tea, each with boba. The drinks were well made and tasted great. There are several halal food options as well which looked tasty.
This longstanding boba shop is under new ownership, and the owner was incredibly kind. My conversation with the owner was truly delightful and is what prompted me to write this review.

“As someone who has worked in the service industry for years I can say that Abby gave exceptional customer service. I had come in with an issue that she quickly and efficiently resolved. She provided a warm friendly atmosphere that often isn’t seen in high volume boba shops. She took orders and made all our drinks and everything was perfect! Multitasking at its finest, I hope someone gives her a raise :)“

“Brittany took my order she was very patient and gave me great customer service making sure I had a great experience. I ordered an Ice blended halo halo for my mom and a strawberry matcha 50% sweetness and had oat milk in my matcha. Glad I didn’t get the 100% sweet because I don’t like to sweet. Love this place for a refreshing drink when it’s very hot“

“Moved to the area a few months ago and have been on the hunt for a good teahouse. Saw Mai’s the other day on my drive home. Stopped in and ordered three banh mi and a boba tea. The spicy beef was just right. And the cajun shrimp was perfect. I will be eating here as often as I can.“

“i’ve wanted to try this place for a while so i finally decided to get it and it was really tasty! staff was super nice and the inside is super cute! i got a taro milk tea and honestly it was the best i’ve ever had super sweet just how i like it and the boba was nice and chewy! and i got a thai tea and it was sweet and refreshing and didn’t make my mouth orange (most thai teas do for some reason 😅) definitely recommend this place and i will definitely be back and it’s cheaper then most boba places i’ve been to and the sizes were just perfect for me. definitely recommend!“
