“Excellent customer service tonight at Tropical Smoothie Cafe!
I arrived at the drive-thru with only about five minutes left before closing, fully expecting that I might be too late. Instead, the employees were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to take my order. They never made me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing them because it was close to closing time.
I especially appreciated this because I had just left another smoothie shop after arriving 10 minutes before their posted closing time and being told that their menu was already being limited because they were about to close.
The difference in customer service was night and day. Tropical Smoothie was still open, and their employees treated me like a valued customer right up until closing time. THAT is how you earn repeat business!
Thank you to the team working tonight for being so kind and providing such great service. You turned a frustrating experience somewhere else into a very positive one. I will definitely be back—and you gained an appreciative customer tonight!“

“I just have to say this is by far one of the best establishments I frequent. Marco the manager is doing a phenomenal job with his employees and every time I come they are all so friendly and thankful for my business. I’ve recently had a significant death in my family and only been able to eat much and my smoothies kept me healthy. They’re always consistently good with the best fruit. It always makes my day! So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND“

“Brandon the owner is so generous and hardworking! He made us delicious pina colada and mangonado smoothies. And gave us excess left overs in small cups for free. Friendly neighborhood boba spot we love to come to! Will be great to frequent after the next door Pickleball venue opens up :)“

“New TASTY boba shop in Richmond! My Vietnamese coffee and boba are good/strong!!! I am picky about my tapioca and Richmond does not have a good tapioca location. I’m so happy Tea-Amo Boba House opened here!!! The staffs were quick with my order and friendly. Definitely my new go to tapioca shop and cute atmosphere!!! :)“

“I walked into Smoothie King expecting a regular morning stop, but I ended up having one of the most unexpectedly fun and uplifting experiences I’ve ever had in any smoothie shop.
When I came in, one of the guys behind the counter was singing and looking at his phone like he was doing karaoke. I asked him, “Are you doing karaoke?” and he said yes — so naturally I told him, “Well let me sing it with you!” He pulled up the song, and luckily there were no other customers at the moment, so we actually karaoke’d together and sang a couple of verses of “Hey, Soul Sister.” It was the funniest, most wholesome start to my day.
After that, I ordered my smoothie, and he went out of his way to make sure I wasn’t overpaying. He explained a cheaper way to order the same thing and saved me money without me even asking. That alone deserves five stars.
He made my smoothie and my avocado toast with so much care. When he handed them to me, he had written “Hey Soul Sister, enjoy!” on my smoothie cup and “Stay awesome – Yingul” on my avocado toast container. That personal touch meant a lot. He also complimented my glasses and my personality, and we had a great conversation about where he’s from and his style. He was genuinely personable — the kind of energy you don’t forget.
The store itself was spotless. Both gentlemen behind the counter had gloves on, everything looked clean, and the whole place felt well-kept and welcoming.
I want to challenge more people to be open, be personable, and maybe even ask Yingul to karaoke with them before he makes their smoothie. I came in for a drink, but I left with a smile, a great start to my day, and a reminder that kindness and fun can show up anywhere.

“I have been eating here at least once a week (usually twice a week), for several years. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like! Food is always fresh, hot, and clearly made with love. The owners are SO sweet and truly care about each guest and their experience. I routinely drive out of my way and past several other Vietnamese restaurants to come to Mama Le’s. I literally can’t explain enough how much I LOVE eating here. We bring all our out of town guests here too! My favorite is the Lemongrass Beef and the Bahn Mi.“

“✨✨✨I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed going to “Blancas” is what I would call it growing up. And 20 years later till this day I tell my kids when we’re in town….LETS GO TO BLANCAS! We love “Blancas” “Chillout Snowballs” in fact the whole family goes!!!✨✨✨“
“This place is amazing my son would go here walking with his friends constantly to get some boba. There is a wide variety of drinks to pick and choose from and are dairy free and gluten free, however they were out of a lot of items like mango, strawberry, bananas, and boba straws. This is a shame because it’s some of their best items. But what is amazing is that they create their own taro paste and use natural ingredients for their other drinks.“

“My daughter and I come here every Wednesday. We like trying a new flavor every time. I like they have seasonal drinks that they rotate monthly. Keeps it exciting! The staff is pleasant and haven’t had a mess up or drinks or bad service. Two thumbs way UP! 👍🏼🥤“

“Moved to the area a few months ago and have been on the hunt for a good teahouse. Saw Mai’s the other day on my drive home. Stopped in and ordered three banh mi and a boba tea. The spicy beef was just right. And the cajun shrimp was perfect. I will be eating here as often as I can.“
