Church's Chicken Reviews
I've dealt with absolute trash customer service before but tonight was a new low.
Placed an order online,
my wife arrived twenty minutes after the "ready time" and was told they "have to recook a bunch of food".
30 minutes later she finally got our food.
She gets home and found that they left out two of the three large sides we ordered.
I called the location, (AW GRIMES) and was greeted by the manager. I relayed the issue and was told "well we told your delivery...read full review
They say 3rd times a charm.. I guess they’re right but in this case in a HORRIBLE way! A month or so ago I went at 7 pm and they were closed.. 2 weeks ago I went around 8pm and as soon as I get to the drive thru I heard yelling that said, we ain’t got no chicken.. but tonight took the cake.. I was second in the drive thru and sat about 15 minutes.. Warning to those with food allergies! So church’s chicken on AW Grimes in Round Rock Texas could have killed My son
Allergy menu states spicy is milk free, we ended up being given regular with spicy packets. Called corporate they stated the recipe changed and all is milk free now , but she was extra cautious and called the franchise to verify
They are still using the old recipe that changed years ago
So now we can’t even trust the allergy menus when dealing with franchises

Church's Texas Chicken has received mixed reviews. Some customers have praised the service, noting that employees are friendly and helpful, especially a cashier who assisted with the app. However, others have criticized the food, mentioning issues like a lack of freshness and a rubbery texture. The biscuits, in particular, were a point of contention, with some customers expressing their enjoyment of them despite other concerns. There have been complaints about the ice and soda machine being out of order, which required the manager to provide drinks directly. A serious issue was reported regarding food poisoning that a customer attributed to the restaurant, lasting for several days. Despite these problems, customers have appreciated the affordable menu options, although some felt that the price of large fries was excessive. There is still a request for a Church's Texas Chicken location to open in Taylor, TX, as it currently lacks dining options. Overall, the restaurant has received both positive and negative feedback.
