My boyfriend and I have tried this location a couple of times. It always takes at least 30 minutes just to get some ice cream, but tonight was beyond ridiculous. We ordered two drinks and some corns dogs, that only took about 15 minutes thankfully, but ahead of the order I specifically requested some barbecue sauce. This is the absolute WORST Sonic in Rowlett!! It is ridiculous how slow and organized this location is. When I order THREE simple drinks nothing elaborate I should get my order BEFORE the people behind me since I ordered first and their orders also included just drinks! I'm getting to the point where I will drive a few miles down the road to go to a Sonic who seems to know how to treat customers and know what their doing! I am very frustrated!!!

Sonic Drive-In, located conveniently down the street, offers a variety of tasty treats. The Blackout Slush Float is a must-try, and the bacon double cheeseburger is phenomenal. The service is usually fast, and the carhops are kind. The cherry limeade is a favorite among customers, and the fries and onion rings are on point. You should go to Sonic for what it has over other fast food joints in terms of uniqueness, that being the slushes, icecreams, and such. The grilled cheeses and pretzel twists are also great. The awesome staff provides great service with a huge smile. However, paying with a card might lead to delays and cold food, so it's recommended to use cash. Overall, Sonic Drive-In is a great spot for satisfying your cravings with delicious burgers and refreshing drinks.
