There are options for kids as well, such as nuggets and tenders. Powerade + lemonade + sprite = Baja blast without the massive sugar.“

We also had the Mutton Kunna; the lamb was tender and the Curry gravy sauce was delicious with the delicate Nan bread. For an appetizer we had Aaloo Samosas; it was a crisp puff pastry surrounding a very spicy potato filling and it was very good! We had the Gulab Janum for dessert and it was lovely. We both had the hot Chai tea and it was the perfect compliment to the meal. The service was good, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. We will absolutely be back.“

“Just stopped by Abu Omar Halal in Richardson and was seriously impressed. The place looks super clean, modern, and well organized from the moment you walk in. The digital menu boards are bright and easy to follow, the counter setup is smooth, and the whole restaurant has a fresh professional vibe.

The menu selection looks amazing shawarma, falafel, family platters, brisket shawarma, kids meals, desserts, and more. You can tell they put effort into both quality and presentation. Even the setup around the register and drink station gives off a polished and welcoming atmosphere.

Service was friendly, the environment felt comfortable, and the restaurant looked ready to handle both quick lunch runs and family dinners. If you’re in the Richardson area and craving halal food with a modern touch, Abu Omar is definitely worth checking out. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!“
