Stagecoach Inn Restaurant

Our family stayed here for the weekend. The place was quiet, comfy and clean. The staff was friendly and had a great restaurant to eat at. Highly recommend staying here when you stay in Salado.

We've driven by many times on 35 but finally had the chance to stop this weekend to get some takeout on our way to the lake. We ordered over the phone and walked around Main Street while we waited which was very cute (and everyone was wearing masks!). VERY DISAPPOINTING!First I heard that it was beautifully decorated well .. not my idea .. the decor is that of a modern wine bar and doesn't resemble anything that you would imagine for a "historical stagecoach inn" Second I expected the food to be amazing especially given the price tag of the very limited selections.We ordered chicken fried steak and the chicken fried steak was good however the gravy tasted like a runny butter roux ..Grilled cheese. $12 nothing grilled about...read full review
