What Da Pho Reviews
Food was fast, ABSOLUTELY LOOOVED the 60's music they were playing, took me back when I was a young lad, so nostalgic! Service was AMAZING, very detailed about the menu and questions I had regarding the entrees and appetizers. Good customer service is so hard too find these days, made me feel like part of the family. I've heard nothing but great things about this place, what a diamond! So happy i came here and I will always return.😊 This is definitely a must try everyone...read full review
Worst experience at what the pho. One of the worst meals I've eaten there. I got teriyaki chicken and fried rice. The rice was mushy and no flavor at all. The chicken was so dry it hurt my teeth and jaw to chew. The sauce was so saturated my tongue is raw and my stomach hurts it was just SO MUCH
We got the calamari and the batter wasn't even cooked all the way through it. So didn't eat it.

What Da Pho is a restaurant that offers excellent service and delicious Vietnamese food. The restaurant is conveniently located, and while the exterior may seem unassuming, the interior is clean, and the decor is welcoming. The menu includes options for those with dietary restrictions, such as grilled shrimp, which was found to be flavorful and satisfying. The restaurant is often busy, but the staff is efficient, ensuring that customers get their food in a timely manner.
The pho, in particular, has received high praise, with customers mentioning that even on its most bland days, it is still better than any other pho in town. Many customers also enjoy the chicken noodle pho, which is served in large portions. The broth here is considered amazing, with many mentioning it as one of the top five they have ever had. The restaurant is praised for its quick service, nostalgia-inducing 60's music, and friendly staff who make diners feel like part of the family.
Despite the high quality, some critics noted that when ordering multiple items, such as tendon, the restaurant should ensure the correct amount is served. Also, improvements could be made in providing better plastic soup spoons for to-go orders, as the current ones are not very practical for consuming broth. Overall, What Da Pho is a must-try for pho lovers and offers take-out options that keep the food fresh and sealed. It remains a popular spot for those visiting or passing through San Angelo, Texas.
