I wish I could give this place 10 STARS!! We found this smokehouse on Google after reading an article mentioning Michelin Guide and top 50 in Texas. We made the trip, arrived just after open at 11am and there was already a line - impressive! The food was OUTSTANDING! Come prepared to want to try everything on the menu and give them all of your hard earned dollars. Absolutely top notch some of the best ribs on earth all of the sides were fantastic staff was very friendly five stars!
The brisket is the best. All other meats were dry and over cooked. Very disappointed. Tri tip was bad chewy, giant rib and pork ribs were extra dry overcooked Paid $150 for nothing.

The facility could use some improvements. The parking lot has huge pot holes, and the limited parking spaces are further reduced by an unpaved road that gets muddy when it rains. Inside, there is a small dining area without A/C, making it stuffy and not very comfortable. Many customers choose to eat outside, but there is no shade, and it can be super hot and full of flies, especially in winter. Despite the atmosphere issues, the food remains the main attraction, with dishes like pork belly, brisket, pork ribs, mac & cheese, and street corn receiving high praise. The pork belly, in particular, was described as heavenly, with a sesame sauce that made it stand out. The mac & cheese has a unique, earthy flavor that pairs well with the meal. The restrooms are clean, which is a plus.
The restaurant is also kid-friendly and offers an unforgettable barbecue experience, especially for those who appreciate the brisket, which is a standout item. Overall, 2M Smokehouse provides some of the best BBQ in the city, though a few small renovations could greatly enhance the dining environment.
