Really good Mexican restaurant. Authentic Mexican food and all with no Chiwawa meat?, but Fajitas were the real thing. You get a lot for your money here. People eating here seemed to enjoy the food. This place is definitely worth a try.

Had the daily special for Thursday - Chile Relleno. It was good and a good portion size. Chips and salsa were top notch and the service was really good.Update - April 2024 - this time I had the steak ranchero... it was amazing! Cooked perfectly with the perfect amount of sauce.

Just went through the drive thru with my wife. They're real quick to suggest a 20% tip before they even hand you a bag of soggy Taco Bell.... I ordered the Wawa nachos. They charge $2 for every condiment you would think should already be on the nachos. $2 for 1/4 cup of sour cream, $2 for a little 1/4 of guac, $2 for a 1/4 cup of jalapenos, $2 for a 1/4 cup of house green sauce, which is just like Taco Palenque. Extremely overpriced! We spent $32 plus a $5 tip for two barbacoa tacos, and some of the soggiest nachos I've ever had. They were completely soggy before we could make the few minute drive to the house, which leads me to believe they already had the box prepared before I arrived to order. They were soggy to the point of having to eat that slop with a fork. I wouldn't be surprised if their chicken "fajitas" came out of a distributor bag, because it definitely didn't taste like restaurant quality. I haven't even tried the barbacoa yet, but I can only imagine it'll be some busted up fast food meat as well, especially seeing just how dry the wrapper on the taco is. I bet money it's some dried up grease free barbacoa meat that came straight out of a bag....Very disappointed. Tejas Cafe, Los Arcos, and Taco Palenque blow this place out of the water. I realize that there are some amazing restaurants all over the city, but these are the closest to my house. I definitely won't be returning to this fake Mexican restaurant. If you're gonna charge top dollar, and have your window employee suggest a tip right when your customers order, the least you could do is serve some decent food......?UPDATE.....Everyone in Texas knows what real barbacoa tastes and smells like..... Those two "barbacoa" tacos were more like ground up scrap meat. They didn't smell anything like barbacoa, and they had big chunks of arteries all throughout the meat. I didn't even bother trying to eat it. Threw it in the garage, and ate a hot pocket and microwavable burrito instead. Total waste of money.... I'm 45 years old, and been eating Mexican food all my life. This place has some nasty food....

Not authentic Mexican food and my tortillas are ALWAYS burnt when I get tacos. Service is good though.

Been there a few times, very middling breakfast tacos. Decent with good salsa portions, but not fresh

Inexpensive Mexican restaurant with breakfast tacos served all day.I don't usually order dessert when I go out, but their sopapillas are super cheap and so good it's a must every time I'm here.Parking: Getting in and out of the parking lot can be a bit challenging at peak times, but there's not so much traffic congestion anymore now that the Chick-fil-A next door closed.

Haven't been here in a few years until today . Honestly, the expectations to give a tip in the drive thru is a HUGE turn off. The first percentage you see when they give you the pad is 25% ! Are you kidding me? This whole tipping culture is out of control! I am not tipping in a drive thru! Food is good but I felt so sick for hours tonight after eating it . Won't be back. Hopefully when people don't tip in the drive thru they aren't doing anything to the food . I was sick for hours after only eating a small amount.

I passed by this place many times I wanted to try it.However the family told me it wasn't that good period I still went and sad to say my family was right. Service was not good. The waiter was not seen. Had a bad attitude. I don't know if he was cocky. Or that's just the personality, but not friendly.. The food was one of the smallest portions. I've had in San Antonio beans. However, had a good smokey flavor first. Set it to tears, I think they were frozen They had an interesting smell to them. However, the second batch that came out smelled pretty good.. Thursday night about seven o'clock to place his empty. There was a big family sitting across from me. Talking about the food not impressed at all. Another woman joined the party said what was good and one of the guys said your best bet is to go with chicken strips. For mexican cafe that's a pretty big insult. They may have been great back in the day. But maybe lost their flare or I came on a fell night.. Either way, with so many choices out here and a lot more happier. People serving. I will go elsewhere.
