Based on the reviews, Bakwood BBQ and More is a small, hole-in-the-wall BBQ spot near downtown San Antonio. The location has limited inside seating, but there are covered picnic tables outside. The food is amazing and the best food in San Antonio. The brisket and sausage are super tender with a perfect amount of BBQ sauce. The 2 meat plate comes with beans, rice, and potato salad. Other menu favorites include the loaded baked potato, the Suicide potato (loaded with meat and toppings), and the loaded mac and cheese. The food is always cooked fresh and fast. The customer service is always friendly and quick, and the owner is usually onsite. Prices are very reasonable. Be sure to have a cool-aid or koolaid with the meal. The atmosphere is very home like and chill.
