I had a few hours to kill while waiting for a flight to arrive. Figured I’d check the place out and i was SO happy i did! Barflys has everything! Great drinks, fun trivia, friendly regulars, and most importantly, Lorrie! I’m fairly certain she can bartend other bartenders out the (fire)water. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience ☺️ I will most certainly visit next time I’m in the area! 5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

You absolutely have to stop in to see Karen, Iris and Lorrie! Best bartenders in San Antonio!

Bar Flys is a cool spot with steel tip dart boards, frozen pizza to order, and affordable drinks. The staff is great, and the atmosphere is clean, bright, and friendly. It's a kid-friendly spot before 10 pm, making it a great place to relax, enjoy trivia, and laugh with friends over yummy cocktails like the "Hippie Juice" and delicious pizza. Parking is better in the back of the building, with gravel/dirt parking. While not directly wheelchair friendly, the very friendly staff will make room.

Free shots for Trivia champs on Wednesdays add to the fun. This bar is known for having the most relevant sports on the TVs, making it a perfect place to hang out. Charlie runs a great karaoke show on Fridays and Saturdays, keeping the atmosphere engaging. With cheap Jello shots and house drinks, Bar Flys is a chill place to enjoy a night out, whether it's for karaoke or just a random night of drinking. It's a spot where anyone can feel welcome, and many find themselves becoming regulars.
