Had an incredible evening at Battalion tonight celebrating my wife's birthday!! I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and this was a perfect opportunity for a date night.
For starters we had the spinach dumplings and the the meatballs, both were delicious but my favorite were the dumplings by far. For our mains we had the lamb chops and the tenderloin, both incredible. For sides we shared the green beans, the cavatappi, and the manacotti pasta. We were so...read full review
The food and service was amazing. Thank you for making my birthday special ♥️
My two friends and I came here tonight after going to the Majestic. I had wanted to try it for a long time and since it was part of culinaria week, we made a reservation.

Located in Southtown, The Battalion provides a cozy and intimate atmosphere perfect for special occasions. The attentive service and acknowledgment of celebrations, like a free birthday cake, add a personal touch. Guests have found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, with servers who are really kind and look after diners well. The menu features standout dishes like the New York strip and lamb chops. The spinach dumplings are a new favorite for many, and the sauce was so good. The chicken parmesan is a favorite main, though the lasagne was a little dry. Don't miss the bread service, meatballs, Trenne Bombay, and Manicotto, all delish. The tiramisu was good, but the pannacotta was a little too sweet. With a diverse wine selection and great deals, Battalion is a hidden gem. The low-key space is perfect for a casual conversation. FYI, you can get discounted parking at one of the lots.
