BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

The music is so loud! Makes date night hard when you're at one of their tiny booths. The isles are extra narrow that your bits end up on someone as you squeeze past. The food is great though! Love the slim menu on the back that's $13 for a few smaller portion (lunch size at dinner time) items that comes with a single serve pizzookie!

Went for my husband's 50th birthday..party of 10..service, food and overall experience A++.. We definitely will be back!!!

The dinner reservation was at 6:30 p.m. We were a party of 12. We ordered two appetizers (chips and dip). Instead of serving both appetizers at the same time, they were sent to the table several minutes apart. Our meal orders were not taken until 7:12 p.m. There was nearly 45 minutes of wait time before our meal order was taken. This is unacceptable, in my opinion. This was a birthday party, my birthday party dinner. Not so happy birthday to me. Next year we will pick another place for dinner.

We changed our plans for dessert on Valentine's Day night because of an email we got from BJ's. It was the Valentine pzookie! I just had to try it! First, we know a waitress there and we were told that we would be seated in her section. We weren't. Next we had a nice waiter who took our order. It took about 20 minutes to get our water! Then some time later we got the pzookie that we were so excited to get. There was 1 slice of strawberry! The ice cream was totally melted, and the chocolate was a dollop on the top. Of I could post pics on this review, I would. I plan to send the pics to corporate!

We reserved a table in advance, we went for the three course meal, only to find out they had run out of all the prime ribs and pork chops! So disappointing!

So ... Where do I start?? Maybe, we give the benefit of the doubt since it was Christmas Eve and it's a crazy week, but I highly doubt what we saw that night took a week to get like that. Hostesses were friendly and there was a few people waiting but we wanted a quick drink and conversation at the bar. Erwin was the only bartender and he was hustling! Make drinks for wait staff and keeping in contact with people at the bar. My friend's espresso martini was good. I WOULD NOT order an old fashioned again, I guess all they have is chip ice not highball. DO NOT LOOK INTO THE COOLERS WHERE THE GLASSES ARE KEPT. It doesn't look like anyone has cleaned in there since they opened. And the reason we both thought that was because the amount of fruit flies and nats flying around the bar. I noticed most of the glasses weren't in the cleanest of conditions either. 1 AND DONE. I've worked bars for a great portion of my life. From the sticky floors and stinky college dives to the wine bar that you want to propose at. Someone needs to get in there and clean. I won't call the health inspector, but it is concerning since I remember when they opened and even a could years ago it was super!

I visited BJ’s Restaurant yesterday 12/15/24 and had the pleasure of being served by Daniel. He was absolutely excellent! His service was fast, attentive, and professional. Daniel ensured that everything was perfect throughout my meal and made me feel truly valued as a customer. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to providing exceptional service, and he deserves to be commended. I’ll definitely be returning, and I hope to be served by Daniel again !

I visited bjs Alamo ranch today and had an amazing experience My server Jenn was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Mauricio the short manager came by and made sure our dining experience was one to remember. We will definitely be back.

Came in twice. First time took 1.5 hours to get my food and when it finally arrived it was cold and stale.

Second time coming in asked to turn on the cowboys game and for two hours no staff / management could figure out how to put the game on the TV. Never ended up getting it turned on.. finally left.

Really trash place. Do NOT recommend.

Peyton was the best waiter! He was attentive to several tables and kept everyone happy. He was personable and friendly. We enjoyed our evening celebrating our son's birthday. The food was delicious and came out quickly. Peyton paid attention to details and kept the drinks (root beer) flowing, and the table cleared of empty plates and glasses. We were pleased with the service.

The manager even offered to bring out samples of prime rib for my husband to choose which one he preferred. It was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. My gluten free burger and salad were delicious. The gluten free pazookie and ice cream were also yummy.

The level of class and professionalism that Peyton demonstrated does not fit the level of restaurant that we we enjoyed.

This man is an All-Star of service.

He wears a star on his collar that has an 'S' on it. That star stands for service. It's an award that the customers give to him. And I can see why he wears it. He has earned it.

This man made the dining experience professional, classy, and took excellent care of us.

I have eaten at Michelin level restaurants and not received this level of service.

When he came to our table, he had drinks with him or something else our table needed, and when he left our table, he had plates in his hands keeping our table decluttered.

Our party of seven never had to ask for refill.

It is 8:45 p.m. on a Friday night. The restaurant is busy. He has demonstrated excellence in this busy environment.

Our order was taken timely and was given correctly.

Peyton is an All-Star and BJ's restaurant owes him.
