We are from out of state, staying at a local hotel in town, I placed a $75 order to be delivered to our hotel through their official website and using toast. I saw that the order was submitted and confirmed with an estimated delivery time but it was never delivered. A phone number was left in the delivery instructions for the driver to call when they were supposed to be delivering the order so we could meet them but obviously that never happened, the order was never canceled and no communication from the restaurant was received in regard to this order. Several attempts were made to contact the restaurant and clear up the issue or just cancel and refund the order but no contact was able to be made as of yet as the number on the toast site for the order and what is listed on the website/ Facebook are different and after waiting for the order to be delivered for so long they are now closed. Not impressed at all.
this place has such a clean and cool ambiance (not too bright, not too dark) and they’re so friendly towards students- they even have a student discount! :D i don’t know if they still have this, but they have an arcade machine!
torito bunz: 6/10 it was very juicy and fresh but i think the beans just weren’t my thing cuz of grease!!
bombardier fries: 9/10 these were so flavorful and loaded! we couldn’t finish so i had leftovers that i used for a a snack 😋 only critique is that the sour cream tasted a tiny bit weird

Only stopped by this place once but was very happy with the menu and my order. Better than Hopdoddys but that same style burgers.
This location has closed in May 2025 but you can still find these great burgers in the downtown area.

The Cheek Bunz was phenomenal, and their French fries were the perfect accompaniment! Make sure to get some of their spicy Ketchup for your fries 😍. The menu is so different from other burger places. My Husband had the Bunzai and he loved it as well! We will definitely be eating here again before we leave San Antonio!
I'm really sad to see Bunz Burgers closed down. They had delicious burgers and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Don't get me started on the fries, because they hit a home run in our office!

Tried to stop here because it was listed as a place for burger week but it's closed permanently.
So I hate to do this cause good places don’t deserve a bad rating but I hate wasting my time and my money. Me and my work team thought we were going to enjoy a delicious burger asked for well done burgers and receive rare all 5 team members received rare burgers. Called to let the manager know we were told we will receive a refund well that never happened so we all are out of a meal and money. Check your burger before leaving the store and don’t count on a refund cause it’s not happening.
Tuesday night $7 burgers allow you to try them all.

Bunz has an excellent product—the burgers are top-tier, and it’s no surprise they won Best Burger in San Antonio. The menu is creative, the flavors are spot on, and the food consistently delivers. It’s at a higher price point, but honestly, I don’t mind paying more for quality like this.
The service is also warm and helpful, which adds to the experience.
Where I think Bunz has room to grow is in the overall aesthetics and cleanliness, both inside and outside the restaurant. These small details—cleanliness, atmosphere, and presentation—can really elevate the experience and encourage repeat business.
I say all this because I believe in the brand. I want to see Bunz succeed, not struggle. Addressing these minor issues could make a major difference.
Great food deserves a great space. Looking forward to seeing what’s next!

We accidently went there but decided to stay. The help did no show up so it was a one man operation.
The burgers are great! We are from out of town so we will have to eat here again.
The loaded fries are really, really good. I usually don't eat bacon on anything except breakfast. The bacon was great. Not like other fast food joints.

Just can't stay away! Brought home a ( cheese ) burger with fries. Just exactly the beefy, JUICY patty I've been craving. No gimmicks here. Just fresh meat and Chef inspired toppings to create amazongly delicious burgers. I'll end with what I started with on my last review.... there are no better burgers in San Antonio.
There is no better burger. There are some that are as good, but they are Tex-mex. The fries are amazing. The onion rings, too. Milkshakes bring all the boys/ and girls to the yard, just so delicious. It really is hard to describe all the wonderful flavors, please, try as many as you can while we have this wonderful place nearby!

Ate at Bunz as it was right by my hotel. Pretty damn good burger. The double with bacon and caramelized onions was very tasty and with the fries it is definitely a meal that won't leave you hungry.

Decided to give Bunz a try and was not disappointed. As we ordered the cashier was friendly with recommendations. She recommended the bombardier fries, let me tell you they did not disappoint. Loaded fries with sour cream, chives, goat cheese, parmesan cheese and last but not least bacon bites 🤤. My girlfriend both ordered the Cow Bunz. Its a nicely cooked pattie topped with gouda cheese, crispy onions, inhouse bbq sauce and veggies. Absolutely delicious. If you're in the UTSA area i highly recommend stopping by to dine in or drive thru for your burger needs.

Idk how this place has good reviews. They use frozen patties. I could’ve made that at home, especially for $40. Rather go to shake shack.

We had a great experience in a very casual atmosphere with delicious burgers! Loved the loaded fries! We all liked our various burger selections. While we each liked the beer we ordered, they were out of more draft beer options than they offered, but it worked out!
