“Only fault I have with this place is their music other than that the food is good the atmosphere is positive and most of the time they're very fast to get you through the line

“I came in at 10:50 because I get off late and this location was the closest I could make it to but they close at 11pm. The workers were polite & professional although they were closing they didn't make me feel like an inconvenience in fact they served me with pride & fully responded to any questions I had. Good service is hard to find especially at faster food merchants. Food was very satisfying.“

That's when she told me she had double charge me....then proceeded to ask if I wanted the 2nd guacamole? Um, yes I want what I paid for. Of course is food is worth the subpar customer service.“
“I love chipotle and this chipotle fills the bowls up. The guy serving behind the counter was quick and efficient. There were only 2 people (server and then cashier) on the main line then one cook and one girl doing to go. That team is efficient!!“
“Hailey not sure if she's the manager or not but she made it right. They put my order on hold because they ran out of chicken. The lady making my bowl asked the big cook. He/ she sd it only needed to be cut. So I was skipped and 2 people went in front of me no problem. Instead of cutting the chicken. They decided to clean the grill and fully start cooking a new batch? The lady making my bowl didn't say anything.. just hand a crazy look ? Mrs Hailey and I think a guy named daniel seen my frustration stepped in and gave me a card with a free entry for my next visit. Almost 10 minutes have gone by now. And I didn't come for free did I'm on a schedule. Hailey stepped in finished making my bowl then on top of all that gave me my meal for free. Very grateful for that
Grateful for then being aware. I'm hoping this review makes it to the right eyes and the cook is made aware the world doesn't run on he/she personal time. I say he/ she meaning NO DISRESPECT I don't think they really even know which way they are leaning. Thank you management. You hand successfully made another cx satisfied excluding the time I lost. “Not gonna lie...my coworkers and I were pleasantly surprised. In the west coast, Chipotle is dogwater and expensive. This Chipotle was actually decently priced and gave decent portions. Rice was seasoned and cooked properly. Meat was actually cooked properly and seasoned. My only gripe is when I asked for double meat. When they ran out of barbacoa after 1 1/4 scoops, they still charged me for double meat. The barbacoa container was replaced with a full one for the next customer behind me. Would have been nice to have the protein portion corrected or at least not be charged for the double scoop. Overall though it was a good experience.“
“Food is always accurate when I pick up. Fresh warm and yummy. Sometimes they can be slow or not paying attention to when an online order comes in and I have had to wait maybe twice. Both times I get there ask for my order & nothing, then see the person pull a ticket and another few more come out. They get mine out fairly quickly. Place is usually clean and quiet in the evening.“

This location is almost 8 miles from my house and we prefer it over the one that is only 1.3 miles away on Culebra and Ranch View W in San Antonio. I'd rather drive further for better service. One day, the Ranch View location will catch up, hopefully. One last thing, to Corporate Chipotle, please stop begging for tips for your employees. We pay enough and I'm not going with a 30% tip (default suggestion) just to ensure that no one spits in my food. Please remove this from ordering. If you want to deliver to my house, I'll tip in cash. Yes, I know I can change the amount, I do $2 and hope this is enough to keep the saliva away. Pay your employees better.“
“Ordered a burrito bowl with sofritas, servings are huge. Sofritas were delicious as usual, I wish the server did not speak too much into my food while scooping the lettuce, hope no projectile went into the food. I probably go farther out to another Chipotle, this was in 281. I took one point for the quality of service“
“I used to order from this location before the employees were so rude and unprofessional, but recently I think they changed their management team because all the employees are so nice and helpful they welcome me as soon as I walk in to pick up my order. And the service is quick.“
“Before visiting San Antonio we stop at this Mexican place for breakfast and I have my usual: bacon with eggs, toast and some cups of American coffee. Before going out I take a picture with the owner of the place as he was very nice. I noticed that many older women also came to take breakfasts that looked like lunches, the opposite to us.“
“Had the plant based bowl. My body reacted as if it had some meat mixed in with the tofu(vegan since 1993) and the pico de gallo had too much vinegar, for my tastes. I've had this menu selection at other Chipotle restaurants in San Antonio and in other states and didn't have the physical reactions I had on Bandera. Thank you for having a plant based option. It's better if not cooked on the same pan/grill as chicken,beef,pork. My body rejected it within a couple of hours.“
“Personally I can’t complain about the food here or service even if you are dining in. I am a delivery driver and take food orders to customers for a third party company. Every time I get an order for a customer at this location I either wait so long for my customers food that the order gets cancelled, I get reassigned to another order or I am told the order is not in the store or has been picked up already. Of the hundreds of orders I deliver this is the only place that this happens and I feel bad for my customers who I have to tell that I will be late or that I no longer am delivering to them because of long wait times.
Update: this is no longer the case. There has been a vast improvement in delivery orders being taken care of with the same priority as the dine in customers“
“The staff tonight was great, there was a BOGO event so it was super busy. The biggest thing that caught my eye was THE MANAGER being rude to his employees. The line was wrapped around the lobby and he didn’t even bother to help.
Instead he was upset that there was a little bit of lettuce left in a different metal tin and was getting mad at his employee (that was helping with the line) then proceeded to walk to the back not helping anyone on the line or cook. Other than the manager treating his staff terribly, the food was good“

“I hadn't eaten Chipotle in months. I ordered on Uber Eats and went in physically. My steak burrito with queso was UH-mazing both times. The steak was seasoned, so soft, and tender. Great leadership at this location—thank y'all!“
“This location has been a bit disappointing compared to other Chipotle restaurants in San Antonio. I used to work at Chipotle in College Station, so I understand how things should be done behind the line — and that’s why I’m writing this review with genuine care and respect for the brand.
I’ve visited this location a few times since it’s closest to my home, but the food often tastes bland. During my most recent visit, I paid closer attention and noticed what I believe to be the manager (based on his shirt) mixing the white rice with only cilantro — no salt or lime juice. Those two ingredients are essential to Chipotle’s flavor, and skipping them changes the whole experience.
To be fair, I thought they might have run out of the ingredients, so I politely asked for a side of lime juice. The manager went to the back and brought out a fresh container, which told me they had it available all along. After adding lime and salt myself, my bowl tasted much better.
As someone who’s worked grill before, I know how important it is to take pride in even the smallest details. It only takes a few seconds to make sure the rice is mixed correctly, and it makes a huge difference for customers.
That said, the staff was very nice and polite throughout my visit, and I can tell they’re trying to keep things running smoothly. I truly believe this team is capable of great work — they just need to bring a little more attention to those small but important steps.
I’ll be coming back, and I’m hopeful I’ll see improvements next time. I know this location can live up to the Chipotle standard. Keep pushing — I’m rooting for you all!
