“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.“

“My family, and I were in San Antonio to take our son to see his specialist. We had received not good news. We were on our way out of town, when my boyfriend Rick stopped to put gas. I lifted my head, and saw this little restaurant called,” Gyro Drive Inn,” right in front of where we were at. I saw all the traffic in this small restaurant. As soon as my boyfriend entered the truck I told him let’s eat there for lunch. We went in not knowing what to expect. When we ordered we were shocked at the phenomenon prices they were amazing! Then we got our burger combos, with sweet tea, and WOW I was in shock they tasted amazing! But, the best part was Linda she was so kind, and had the best attitude, and the best patience! I asked so many questions, and she answered every single one of them with the kindest attitude, and the sweetest smile. The other workers there the cooks, were amazing too they were very kind, and humble too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant to anyone who wants great tasting food, at affordable prices, and the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! “The food is great and the cornbread is to die for, moist, fluffy, and sweet. I've known of the restaurant chain for years but haven't been a patron for many years. I went in because I was in the area and it was convenient and remembered why I had loved it in the past. I had the shrimp and catfish and it was delicious. If you're in the area and want some fantastic food then just go in and try it you won't regret it.“

“We dined Christmas Eve, arriving 3pm (our reservation time) which was their closing time, it didn't matter. Our Host was welcoming as if they just opened, our Server, who we've had the pleasure of being taken care of before, was happy to see us, our dinner service was perfect!! Our salads were dressed just right, the romaine was fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed them, I loved the red beans and rice too. Two of us had the fish and chips which were fresh out of the fryer when the got to our table and the fish tacos my wife had, were unbelievably tasty. We never felt rushed to eat and get out even though it was Christmas Eve and they were closing early, Thank you for making us feel wanted and comfortable. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year. “So you haven’t tried “Cap’n Jim’s Fish and chicken to go” 🍤 🍗 I can say this charm of a restaurant has : Decent Prices, homemade fried chicken that melts in your mouth 🍗 and crispy. Fish is perfect in taste, so delicious! Support your local eatery and give it a try!

“Fish and shrimp were hot and fresh. Fries were limp and Luke warm. Price is fair, but one packet of tartar sauce for 3 slices of fish is a bit ridiculous. Still nostalgic.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step you have to watch out for upon entrance. Handicap parking is on the side of the building. I would NOT consider this establishment to be wheelchair friendly.“
