“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.“

“Been driving by this place for a while. Finally tried it yesterday. Had the fish burger it was great. Fries and Drink combo was good. Fries are crinkle fries. Because it was my first time they threw in a couple of Onion Rings to try along with the combo. They were good too. Glad I finally took the time to try it.“

“Small, unassuming place. Service was excellent, the workers were so nice. I'm not even a catfish fan, and theirs was so good. I had the catfish and shrimp dinner with collard greens (which were a tad spicy and cooked to perfection!). Hubs had the crawfish poboy, and the little one had the oyster plate. Everything was good, the greens and the catfish were my favorite. We will absolutely be back. Don't pass up this gem!“

“Hey, this place is kind of a hidden gem! We were looking for a new “fish place“ here in San Antonio. While there are lots of fried fish places... that I offer a fine selection of previously frozen/Sysco fish (you know who you are) – Fresh fish at a reasonable price is hard to come by without paying an arm and a leg here in the Alamo city. Well, we found it! The price point is pretty reasonable and the selection is excellent. The fish is very fresh and the preparation is on point! The service was top-notch – (Delilah made our Valentine's dinner perfect) – we will definitely be going back again... Highly recommend this restaurant. “

“Fish and shrimp were hot and fresh. Fries were limp and Luke warm. Price is fair, but one packet of tartar sauce for 3 slices of fish is a bit ridiculous. Still nostalgic.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step you have to watch out for upon entrance. Handicap parking is on the side of the building. I would NOT consider this establishment to be wheelchair friendly.“
