I’ve been here multiple times over the years and when I lived in San Antonio. Every time we travel to San Antonio, we always lan a stop at Hong Fong for the best Chinese food in San Antonio. I only wish they had a restaurant in north Texas!

May not be truly authentic Chinese cuisine, but it is really good and tasty, with generous portions. The service was quick and very attentive. It was a very hot day, and the server actually gave me a wet towel to wipe my face and cool off, which is extremely above and beyond. My glass of water never sat empty for long as well, always being promptly refilled. Our visit was an enjoyable experience (we're out of town) and a pleasant surprise to find out this is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Texas! The decor was very intriguing. Eli at the front was very welcoming to everyone. Cecilia was our waitress and very attentive. Jeffrey answered my questions about the different sauces they provided at the table. We ordered the family deal for 2 which is a reasonable price and perfect for couples and could possibly even feed 3...
