So we normally get our tortillas from La Luz Tortilla Factory and they have good barbacoa as well. We decided to try the tamales from their today. The meat had a great flavor. The masa was not thick and the Avocado cream salsa is so delicious. We also got this cute coffee cup as well. You can follow them on TikTok & Instagram they are always making cute post to. It's great to support local businesses.

Was visiting San Antonio for the weekend and was looking for some really good menudo and barbacoa so I came across La Luz Tortilla Factory, they had really good reviews. I was visiting from Houston and back home we have really good menudo so I was expecting something better but that was not the case. I ordered a large menudo and a taco de barbacoa. The menudo was very greasy and the meat was in large chunks and, the soup was very dark and not red. The flavor was really bad. We had to pay for tortillas which normally comes with menudo. We got lemons instead of limes, we got very little onion and no cilantro. This place was not what I expected so if you’re looking for some good menudo this is not the place. I will not be back!

Totally worth the 22 mile drive from 1604! Authentic flavors, kind, efficient ,and friendly staff. Sizable portions and flavor bombs are the salsas! The tortillas were definitely a hit, barbacoa was flavorful and not greasy at all. Tamales were perfect with lots of filling. We have the pork tamales this time. Based on the flavors, we’ll be back to try the others too! My favorite was the menudo. We went there for the menudo (fiesta hangover medicine) and whoa! Bursts of flavor and tons of pozole and meat! Next to the homemade menudo I make, this is by far the best I’ve had and I’m super picky when it comes to menudo.Overall, run, don’t walk there. Try it all. But don’t forget the salsas and both corn and flour tortillas! You skip this spot, you’re missing out!Surely will be back for more!

I just bought 2 packages, it was supposed to include the sauce, they ended up charging me for 2 sauces, it's not much, only 5 dollars, but that's not the way.

This is a MUST HAVE for Sunday breakfast! My entire experience was absolutely amazing😊 from Google message to going and getting my order. I love that they take Google pay and they were fast and friendly. Definitely going back !!! The about of food for the price was very reasonable.

Just tried their pork tamales and let me tell you... they were delicious! The masa was so fluffy and flavorful. The meat was well portioned to the size of the tamal. It wasn't dry. I'd definitely go back to order some more. A little side note, they let me try one before I placed my order to see if I would like them.

I have been getting flour tortillas from here for many years. Always fresh and tastes great. My grandkids love them. These get shipped to NC to a family member and also took some to TN to give to a Bed & Breakfast place when on vacation. There is no comparison when it comes to La Luz flour tortillas in San Antonio, Texas. Usually pick up some once a week. Keep up the good work.
