It’s difficult to rate the food when you have been brought up with “authentic “ Mexican dishesIn my small world there is TexMex food and Puro Mexico meaning it tastes like grandmas cookingI was impressed by the presentation of the plate and the restaurant. I would definitely go back with friends.
It is nice, I was limited on what I can order to a cumin/comino allergy. I can only order chicken dishes and beans. No rice or anything else on the menu. So for anyone else out with the allergy just be careful. I ordered the chicken flautas with double order of charro beans and it was delicious. My husband ordered mole enchiladas with a puffy taco he loved it.

Such fast and excellent service, even during Fiesta. The mole enchiladas were a little too sweet but very flavorful, rich with winter spices and peanuts. Verde enchiladas were also great, but this is important: all of their plants were very happy! Whoever takes care of the plants at Los Barrios knows what they are doing.
