I was visiting the historic market square and wanted to try some Tex-Mex food. We walked around and saw this restaurant. It was only around 5, so the restaurant wasn’t busy yet. I enjoyed the chips and salsa that were offered before the meal. I ended up ordering the beef fajitas. The portion was plenty and the steak was good. I enjoyed all the extras that were given. I would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

We came here for lunch after visiting the Alamo. Although unassuming, the food service and atmosphere are phenomenal. We ordered off the lunch menu but portions were big enough for dinner. The wife and kids gobbled up the food. And the added tortillas were fresh and fantastic. I highly recommend coming here.
I asked my mother where she would like to go to celebrate her 80th bday and she automatically said “La Margarita”. The food was incredible as always and the service was superb! We were a party of 16 and there was not one single complaint.

Great Customer service! Food and drink was better than expected. The Chicken Quesadilla was meaty and cheesy. Not like other flat Chicken Quesadilla's. No wait time, server was prompt and experienced. Loved the Awesome Experience!
Food was great (awesome Beef Fajitas) and great drinks! Juanita muy amable y servicial!

Group of 55 for a dinner. Staff was wonderful and professional. Food was excellent and the fresh tortillas were the best. Will definitely return again.
The whole restaurant was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. I was hopeful that the menu had separate tex-mex from the rest of the menu. That was a shortlived moment of happiness. The food was mild and basic. My son kept saying we should go to Mi Tierra instead because it was more authentic but I didn't really understand how bad it was until I went to eat his leftover beef enchiladas. He said they were the worst he ever had. I don't know what they did to these but ground beef and red tortillas with chedder is NOT authentic. My Mexicano husband had his mother teach me their family recipe and this is a tragedy. Go to Mi Terria. I'm from Seattle and can find more authentic Mexican food from a street vendor than this. 😑

parking sucks
The food was great. I would highly recommend the George's Special. Some of the best Mexican food I have had. The Mariachi Band was amazing and boosted the atmosphere. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes.

Do not order the Tres Colores enchiladas! The sauce on the red one tasted like tangy marinara sauce and the green was really citrusy. The El Charro beans were meh and so was the rice. The atmosphere was cool but the good mediocre and way overpriced.
