On 10/11/25 my spouse took me there for my birthday celebration! The hostess was great but the food we ate was not good! The food we order had no favor it was not well season. I was disappointed since we had eaten there before but I am thinking they must of changed the cook! This is the last time I would eat any food there!
We drove there from Austin just to eat there. The food was definitely delicious. The only thing I can say is that the service was slow, and we had to remind them for my mom’s drink. Aside from that everything else was great. As a Puerto Rican we have been looking for a true Puerto Rican restaurant. We will definitely go again. It’s worth the money you pay. We had the pork job that Guy from food network loved. Very filling.
Our first time here, and we were so impressed! The quality and variety of the food is outstanding, and the service is great! They made us feel right at home! Can’t wait to bring our friends to share tapas and cocktails…so many to choose from! We’ll be back for sure!!

Luna Rosa Puerto Rican Grill y Tapas in San Antonio offers delicious Puerto Rican food with a cozy atmosphere. The Coquito Band adds to the great experience, although parking can be limited. Despite a slight wait, the food and friendly service make it worth a visit, with dishes that remind guests of home. While some items like the morcillas may not be a hit, overall, the restaurant provides a delightful and tasty dining experience. Visitors often find the happy hour menu appealing, with great prices and a variety of selections that encourage guests to return for the full menu. The pork dishes stand out, especially the bacon-wrapped dates and the Cubanito sandwich, which are highly recommended. The bread pudding is also a favorite dessert. The interior decorations help create a warm, home-like feel, making it a cozy spot to enjoy good food and drinks. The friendly staff and lively atmosphere, sometimes a bit noisy, add to the overall enjoyment of the experience.
