Luther's Cafe Reviews
A local gem. I was here a few years ago, late at night, and the place was the only lit building on the block. The servers were friendly, the patrons were friendly, the food was quick and delicious, the beer selection was decent, and my only complaint is that I could not come back to witness karaoke night. Buy a t-shirt. This is one of the keystones of San Antonio.
I got invited here for a date with my friend Frank (wheelchair bound and disabled) and he treated me to the Youngins Burger Basket and man the burger was out of this world. Very LGBTQ+ friendly which is perfect cause Frank and I are a transgender couple. Me and him have been promoting this place on our show recently, hopefully you all check it out..
I went here with my wife and it was a fun time, we saw a nice drag show and had good food and drinks. We also saw some drunken old man in a wheelchair yelling at some guy wearing a boxing helmet saying he wouldn't be taken to Chuck e Cheese tomorrow if he kept calling him a hambone. I don't know if they were apart of the drag show but it was entertaining again. I will definitely be coming back here.
Luther's Cafe is a longstanding restaurant in San Antonio that has had a mixed reputation. While some reviews praise the delicious food, quick service, and friendly staff, others mention poor drink quality, unappetizing entrees, and unsanitary conditions. Despite these concerns, the restaurant remains a popular late-night spot for those seeking good food and a lively atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of options, including chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, and tater tots, though the quality can be inconsistent. Customers enjoy the friendly atmosphere, fun drag shows, and events like karaoke nights. The place is also known for being LGBTQ+ friendly. Overall, Luther's Cafe provides a unique dining experience, though customers may want to exercise caution when ordering certain menu items or drinks.
