Nothing short of excellent! Avid epicureans, my girl and I love to try new niche restaurants over corporate conglomerates and Mare e Monte was on the itinerary for today. Walking in, we were “welcomed home” and it set the pace for the rest of the meal. We started with the meatballs, she enjoyed the Sole, and I, the Veal Poblano per Aaliya’s suggestion, we enjoyed every bite! Everything was amazing! My nonna had the Pasta Al Nero and I had the Bronx Pollo Parmigiana. The mozzarella pull was out of this world. The food was incredibly fresh and had the perfect amount of spice. Our waiter Fati was just overall so attentive and wonderful! Truly made the whole experience even better. Ask for him if you can. A big thank you to the chef for bringing real Italian. We will definitely be back and soon! :)
Food and service were excellent! The wife and I like trying different dishes, so we often split a couple of plates. Out waiter made sure he had the kitchen split our meals so we each had a portion of each on our plates, so we wouldn't have to pick off each other's plate.
