“I found Turkish Grill by asking Google for restaurants that serve Lamb. There was a lively atmosphere thanks to the singers and musicians singing in Turkish (I think). “A good friend of mine kept telling me to try cava whenever I came across one, but since we don’t have any in my hometown, I had never been. When I was in Dallas, I hesitated at first, honestly, with a name like “cava,” you don’t really know what to expect. I walked in skeptical… and man, I regret not trying it sooner.

The setup is like a more elevated, Mediterranean-style Chipotle, simple, clean, and fast, but with way better flavors. Everything I ordered was incredibly good. I tried the lamb, steak, red hummus, and a Greek yogurt style sauce, and every single thing was fresh, flavorful, and honestly amazing. I’m officially a fan now.

It also seems like a pretty healthy option, which makes it even better. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I see one.

“You gotta try the chicken shawarma & rice platter. It comes with a side salad. Serving was plentiful and it was absolutely delicious. The warak enab (grape leaves) were also delicious. It is genuinely arabic food. The only drawback is that it's a food truck so there's nowhere to sit to enjoy this heavenly food.“

The women that work here speak Spanish, but they always fulfill my order beyond expectations even though I only speak English . They’re so sweet and the food is amazing. I usually get the grilled chicken bowl from The pitaza Menu which is actually better than kava . They have eight mini menus that include desserts like fried Oreos, Burgers and fries, A breakfast menu as well as Mediterranean food and wings. It’s 24 hours also!
