The service and food are always excellent. They make a mean margarita that was absolutely delicious!Been a customer for over 30 years. And my husband has been going since he was a child with his parents. Since 1959.We did have the pick of outside tables since no one was there. This place is iconic. In my opinion this is the best mexican restaurant in downtown. I have been coming here since I was a kid and it's always delicious and friendly. A must if you want a relaxing meal.

So sorry to see this restaurant closed. Was a tradition to visit there when we were in the area. Always very consistent, great experience, especially the friendly staff (and Chef's special/chicken tacos)! We celebrated my wife's birthday years ago at Karam's on Zarzamora , sure miss that place as well! Best wishes to the Karam family!
