Did the tour, it was lots of fun and was very interesting, there was a sampling at the end and that was cool too.

Unbelievably the best whiskey I have ever had! So good that we joined the Whiskey club and I suggest whoever reads this you do the same. The staff was extremely knowledgeable as we came on a Monday which was super chill. Can't wait to get my first bottle from the club and be a continuing customer. Thank you Ranger Creek for becoming my go to whiskey in SA!

Took my husband here for our 20th wedding anniversary, our first experience surprise and we both enjoyed every minute of it!
From the moment we walked in and were greeted by their friendly and helpful staff to Mike our tour guide! Not once did I mention to the staff what the occasion was. To have a 1st time experience with friendly and knowledgeable people who work there, we will share our experience with family and friends! This is a hidden gem!

The only reason this is not a five-star review is because there is road construction nearby which makes reaching the site somewhat difficult otherwise this would be a five-star review.
Very nice beers and shop in a casual atmosphere that is both adult and family friendly. Service was professional and courteous. Beer and Bourbon were smooth and delightful. Food, other than in bags is not available.

Mission Accomplished! Unforgettable Tour at Ranger Creek's Brewstillery

Our visit to Ranger Creek was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped in, their team welcomed us like old friends, sharing their passion for craft beer and spirits with a hospitality leaving a lasting impression and craving to return.

As military veterans ourselves, we were blown away how this veteran-owned brewstillery supports service members and veterans through employment and education opportunities. It’s clear they’re not just crafting beverages—they’re brewing impact.

Every single staff member was engaging, down-to-earth, and made us feel like part of the Ranger Creek family. Their enthusiasm for what they do was contagious, and their innovative approach to both beer and distilling left us beyond impressed.

We only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often. Ranger Creek has earned its spot as a must-visit rendezvous whenever we’re in San Antonio. If you’re looking for top-notch brews, smooth spirits, and even better company, report to Ranger Creek!

My wife and I stumbled upon this "Brewstillery" a year ago last August when we were on that side of town. They had the whiskey club event that evening and we signed up as members on the spot. I love bourbon and have always favored Kentucky bourbon over all others until I tried the .36 Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The Texas Sun deserves some credit along with Josh, the brilliant master distiller, and Dennis the owner and visionary. Big Mike is like a walking encyclopedia and a great presenter, and I enjoy his narrated barrel taskings. We got to see Mike and Josh on their most recent webcast. The whole staff is super friendly and we enjoy visiting every chance we get. The beer is amazing too. Join the club! It's worth it because you get to taste some of their amazing creations, such as the Akvavit (a liqueur made with corn distillate, dill, caraway, fennel, cumin, coriander, raisins, and honey), which we enjoyed on Saturday, as we learned about the various barreling and distilling processes. It's both fun and educational. Visit soon. You'll be glad you did.

The Brewstillery tour + VIP whiskey sampling is definitely worth it! The tour guide, Mike, was knowledgeable and thorough in guiding you through the brewing/distilling process. The samples of spirits are a bit meager, barely a teaspoon full for the regular tasting, but you do get 2 tickets for full-size beers and a souvenir glass. Great local brewery and distillery.

My husband and I were the first customers to arrive on Saturday. We were cordially greeted by Brandon. He was very informative and friendly. After tasting a few beers, we walked around inside and then ventured out to the patio. The whole business is very well presented; they sell their products and gifts like tshirts and hats. Every employee we encountered was cheerful and friendly - they clearly appreciate working there. The business also offers tours of the facility, but we didn't participate.

Did the Veterans Scollywompus 5k here - great experience for the whole family! The beer and atmosphere is a win!

Scheduled a whiskey tour and thought I bought it out. Got there and that was not the case. It was a tour of double amount of people. Tour was supposed to be 90 mins or less. Ended up being 2.5 hours. Staff was friendly.

You know what a brewery is. This is one. You know what a distillery is. This is one. Do you know what a malt whiskey is? This place makes one of the best in the world. I'm not making this up. If you enjoy whiskey, and you know the difference between bourbon and malt whiskey like Scotch or Irish whiskey, the Rimfire malt whiskey has placed 12th on the best craft whiskey produced on our planet. Consider... Scotch and Irish whiskey are aged with charred peat. Consider the aroma of charred mesquite used in the aging of Rimfire. I love it.
