This place is on another level!!! I've tried Chef's Table. I've tried Kabob Land. I've tried, Iraqi Grill (no longer in business), I've tried Basil, and I can go on and on but Saffron Persian Cuisine sits at the top (some people lump Med and Middle Eastern together, that's why I did here). The absolute best place to get Persian cuisine in San Antonio! This family-owned restaurant may seem antique, but flairs a common Iranian restaurant style that is reminiscent of back home. Their kabobs are to die for- more on the juicy side and rarely come dry! One platter had portions big enough to feed two people and is worth the money. Love this place.

This is hands down the best Persian restaurant in San Antonio. I’ve eaten probably 2/3 of the menu and everything was of high quality. I personally recommend the Vaziri, but the Ghormeh Sabzi is also consistently delicious. The rice alone is worth a visit in my opinion.
