Saltgrass on the San Antonio Riverwalk… squelched my appetite when a ginormous cockroach crawled across the back of my husband’s bench seat and almost onto his shoulder. The girls at the next table screamed and one brave one clobbered him (the bug, not my husband!) with her rolled up silverware.
….it was our anniversary and we weren’t even offered a free dessert! Lol ew.

We went to the Saltgrass Steak House on the River walk, San Antonio over the weekend. We ask to be seated outside, river walk view. The waitress comes to our table with two plates and asks if we are waiting for two more people. We are all confused because there are four of us and we are seated at a four top, but we say no, our whole party is there. I had dinner by myself, the appetizers, bread and soup came out rather quickly after that, I said, for an hour and 20 minutes before my steak was presented, I ordered the steak medium, and that steak came out in the hands of the manager with an apology on the delay, and that steak bled more than it did the day it was slaughtered , the entire experience was horrible. Although the manager did comp majority of the meal I still feel it should’ve been 100% comp.
