Ordered the combo. A slice of pineapple, a slice of supreme, and a drink. The extra time they put it in the oven to reheat makes the crust crispy with a hint of burnt….hit the freaking spot!

Our boss is a dork, so we showed up to the airport early. I’m so glad that we did. This Sbarro is the best one in the continental United States. I’m not sure about overseas because I haven’t been to a Sbarro in any other country. Here’s what you need to do (trust me) - book a morning flight to San Antonio, head the the Sbarro in the B terminal, say hello to Alexis, and order a pepperoni pizza with gravy. Sounds crazy, right? Just do it. Michael Scott was right…this IS the best pizza in New York (which is in the continental United States).

When you're travelling through an airport, it can be hard to know what food is worth your time and money. That question becomes even more complicated when you tend to eat plant-based, and it can be hard to find a "safe" spot to eat.Luckily, while I was waiting for my flight to depart I stumbled across this lovely Sbarro tucked one of the food courts. While Sbarro is generally known for their pizza, I didn't have the time to wait for a pizza to be made and cooked. However, this wasn't a bother for me because I was able to order both their spaghetti with red sauce and the roasted potatoes, both items vegan and ready to eat!The potatoes were soft and fluffy on the inside, with that light crunch on the exterior of the potato to give it that nice texture. The roasted potatoes are also cooked with peppers and onions, giving the dish a little more zest on the end. When I was talking with my cashier, he had mentioned that the spaghetti is not only tossed in olive oil but also cooked with garlic in the mix. You can tell too, because the noodles not only had a hint of garlic notes, but also chunks of garlic amidst the noodles themselves. While you can order meatballs as an addition to the spaghetti, for my purposes it was unnecessary. All in all, I ended up being extremely satisfied with my meal. Oftentimes after a bite to eat in an airport I find I feel hungry still or that I spent far too much money. Sbarro, however, filled me to the brim with quality, delicious carbs. Certainly helped me nap on the flight home!Vegetarian options: If you order the pizzas without meat they will be vegetarian from that point forward. The breadsticks are vegetarian but not vegan. The spaghetti, if ordered without meatballs, are both vegetarian and vegan. The roasted potatoes are also both vegetarian and vegan.

Please close this location and puit something good in its place. We were flying out early on United and this was one of the few places open. I got a breakfast sandwich on toast thinking it would less dry than a biscuit. I was wrong. The toast must have been made some time ago as it was so dry. I was already on the plane so all I could stomach was the egg and sausage in between the bread. The City Council and airport need to consult the citizens that frequent the airport before letting places like this take up valuable vendor space.

I stopped here for breakfast. I had a 9am flight. They didn’t have any pizza made. So we ordered some breadsticks. They were average.

Mean and rude lady. I’ll just get breakfast at my layover in Chicago. Never again.

Brought back memories of the Sbarro at Newark airport. I had the spaghetti with tomato sauce. It hit the spot and was a large portion for a little over $8. I don't know how they can make money off those prices. Deserves a 3.5 but I rounded upwards. Friendly staff and hot food.

The old lady there with the attitude problem acting like she hates customers and her own life, needs to go, ASAP. Such a horrible person.

Early morning - lady who opened today was very rude. All I wanted was a Breakfast Stromboli. When I asked about it, she rudely told me they don't have any...b they just opened... they've been prepping for at least an hour. I just don't understand the logic not the attitude on her part.Got breakfast at Rosarios further in.
