It's an airport restaurant so there's that. But the food was amazing

This smoke shake was great! The service from David was top tier! He was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of! The drinks were delicious so that’s always a plus! =)

Despite being in the airport, the brisket was excellent! Juicy, tender, flavorful. Smoke Shack was on my list of BBQ places to visit but scheduling forced me to 'settle' for their airport location on my way out. If it wasn't past security, I'd say it would be worth a trip just for a great meal.

After scoping out restaurant options in Terminal A, decided this place had by far the best vibe (seat-yourself bar against the window was flooded with natural light and had plenty of plugs, perfect for getting a bit of work done on my laptop).
I ordered the 4 sides, simple and surprisingly good for an airport. Happily satiated w/o any heavy-eating guilt.
The staff was super friendly, from the guy taking my order to the girl who delivered my food. I'm writing this review to call out the stellar service and friendly interaction I had with James Ferguson, who took my order. Which I much appreciated and wanted to tip generously, except that I somehow messed up and tipped him 5 cents 😅 His manager who happened to walk up assured me all was good and waived me off rather than rerun the order. So this review is for you guys!

The food is disappointing. I ordered the bbq plate with chicken and brisket as the two meats and mac&cheese and potato salad for my sides. They ran out of potato salad so I ordered fries. The brisket was so dry and hard as a rock that one can loose a tooth just by trying to chew it. The chicken was as terrible as the brisket. Highly recommend going somewhere else

I went to this restaurant at the airport and it was really good! I had the pulled pork nachos. The beverage was awesome!

I really enjoyed my mac and cheese side. That being said, it was SO small for being 4.95 before tax. For that reason I wouldn’t come back.

Got the chopped salad with chicken and there were bones throughout. Talked to the guy who made the salad, who first tried to blow us off, and then said we had a choking hazard in my salad because “he hadn’t been there for a few days.” I guess he was out of practice of making an edible salad. We got a refund and left.

We have never been here before. Kathryn showed us how to order then brought us our coffee. Really nice. Felt like the food was a good value especially being in the airport. It looks like you can get beer and mixed drinks too. We had coffee and it was good.Nothing fancy. Breakfast tacos were hot and fresh and plenty of filling. Q came and cleared the trash and brought us a bag for the tacos we couldnt eat. Recommend!

I got the half lb brisket and half lb ribs. The brisket is tough and shredded. It was dry, and it doesn’t weight like half pound at all. It’s a terrible meal.
For airport food this is really excellent. It's super fast, and the food is solid. I really like that you order and pay up front so you aren't waiting for a bill when it's time to catch your flight. The nachos are huge and really good. The shack Mac (Mac and cheese topped with brisket) is small, but definitely enough for delicious lunch. Servers are friendly. What more can you ask for at an airport?

I had the BBQ plate with chicken, fried okra and fries. The chicken was hard and did not taste good. The fried okra and fries were OK. I’m a big fan of southern food / BBQ and TX restaurants rarely disappoint me but this place was a let down. Fortunately they had Shiner Bock.

Thr bone pulls right out of the meat the wife says. This is another time when we get right through TSA and see the sign saying Southern BBQ and we halted our progress to our gate. And I wasn't really hunger but turkey sandwich, really a turkey sliced burger with sauce. Add the vinegar based sauce to the already well sauced round hamburger bun. It was good. Sweet tea with free refills wasn't Southern sweet. It was Texas sweet. She had fried okra and spicy cream corn wasn't Very spicy at all but she inhaled it. Her two meat BBQ was a delight to her. My green beans with onions and tomatoes was I think fresh but watery. Since I inhaled it I have to give it higher marks than I'm saying because it was unexpected. Her Texas toast bread was enjoyable and she couldn't finish it all.
