Subway in San Antonio

“Debra made my sandwich and I was absolutely stunned by her service. When she was making my sandwich it felt like she could read my mind and she knew exactly what I wanted. I also wanted to get a cookie with my order but Debra was so sweet I would be pre-diabetic if I had taken any more sugar. She is singlehandedly keeping the store alive and I hope my kids grow up to be like her. If there were more people like her the world would be a better place.

Thank you for making me feel welcome, I have been to other subways and I’ve gone through 4 different subways and theirs we’re always full of flys and their tomatoes were old and nasty,
Not Here at this location I can always eat fresh food
So thank you for that I look forward to coming/ driving all the way over here from commerce & 24th just to eat good clean fresh food

“First subway I've been to in a good while where they were staffed adequately, the employees didn't look over stimulated or over worked, freaking out like other subways, it was clean, looks like they got a 100 on their inspection, super pleasant surprise on this side of town, they didn't skimp out on me when I asked for black olives, which subway usually does lol, and the service was fast. “I love subway, by far one of the best deli franchises in town. They truly live up to their slogan, “Subway, eat fresh!”

This particular subway is interesting, the store is always clean and they’re always stocked on items. I spend a lot of my work lunches here when I’m in the area, so I pay attention to those things

The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the customer service is pretty great too!

All the workers are super cool except this one guy in the morning, bald guy with a beard, kind of short; always giving me a MAJOR attitude which in turn sours my mood. I hate when he takes my order, I always try to get the other guy to do it; the other guy is super cool.

Anyways the food is pretty good, and I love their selection of chips and drinks, the teas are always fresh as well as their soups and meatballs.

Personal recommendation of mine is to TOAST YOUR VEGGIES with your sandwich (Spinach, bell peppers, olives, and onions are preferred) it’s a game changer on those sandwiches.

All in all, I like having a sandwich during my lunch breaks here and recommend to anyone. The Subway app also has some cool deals and promos so that’s a huge plus as well, definitely get the app if you haven’t already.

Parking is pretty difficult since it’s a shared public lot so be on the lookout there.

“Sandwiches are deliciousVegetables are crunchy.They do it definitely the way you like it. I've been to a few subways since I've been living in. Texas, a lot of them stink, they didn't break the vegetables apart. When you ask them for more, then spread them across the sandwich, they're very cheap with it. “The staff is always kind to me here. Nice location for a subway. The restaurant is always clean and pleasant to eat in. The bathrooms are also clean. Not ever too busy, so it feels nice to be here. My preferred subway out of all the other ones nearby.

“I was at this subway today and found the manager, Stephanie, working all by herself. She made 4 sandwiches at the same time; 2 for a customer inside the store and two online orders. After she was done with those orders, she made 3 more orders for customers inside the store without a single hick up.
