Tamahli Reviews
Picked up a small bag of the poblano & corn from whole foods. Love the small size and they were amazing! I'm very picky and these are so good! Looking forward to seeing more varieties (chicken) at my local whole foods soon!!!
Tamahli have the best traditional tamales in San Antonio—no wait! They’re the best traditional tamales outside of Mexico!! Call them for your order before you stop by.
Absolutely delicious! The tamales are full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly made. The service is excellent , everyone is friendly, attentive, and quick. It’s so nice to find a place where you can feel the care in both the food and the attention.
If you’re looking for amazing tamales and great service, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Tamahli is a restaurant known for its delicious, flavorful tamales. The tamales are lard-free, with soft, fluffy masa and packed fillings, making them a favorite for many. The restaurant offers a variety of tamales, including the banana leaf Holy Moley and Poblano options. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality and taste make it worth it. Customers can order online and pick up their tamales at the clean, office-like establishment. The sweet tamales, such as the pink and pumpkin ones, are highly recommended and a favorite among visitors. Overall, Tamahli is a great place to satisfy your tamale craving with authentic flavors and quality ingredients.
