This place is fantastic. Wonderful art and vintage furniture everywhere. The drinks are strong and there's a food truck connected with it which serves all kinds of food. I would highly recommend it.

The Jewel cafe and bar is just as it's name states, " A Jewel in San Antonio". My husband, 23 year old daughter and I visited this establishment Saturday morning. The new owners are more than friendly and welcoming. They educated my family on the history of the business and when it was a home. They elaborated on their menu and services. The property and fractions of it can be reserved for private parties and events. I ordered the cappuccino with almond milk and hazelnut syrup. Amazing! I can change this up several ways, which is my intention in the future. My husband ordered a peach mango tea. Hot. He loved it, also. My daughter ordered a Latte with almond milk and hazelnut syrup. She agrees this is the best coffee drink she has had and the luxurious but comfortable and casual home atmosphere made it 100% better. My husband also ordered a cinnamon roll. One of the many pastry options available. There are many areas to sit inside or outside, to enjoy the treats. Something good to know, behind the establishment is their private parking lot. This makes it easy to park safely and not worry about crowded curb parking. I highly recommend the Jewel to all folks looking for a coffee, breakfast house to enjoy quality time with family and friends. I do know they are open in the evenings also, offering a full bar alongside coffee, to those who love to unwind with a cocktail. The owners told me of so many plans to serve their community, in this coming year, that I cannot remember it all. I, for sure, will be coming back with new folks to give everyone I know an experience worth having.

This place is one of a kind for sure! I wasn't sure if it was open. We were just walking after we had brunch at Blush. I peeked inside the window, and the person inside waved me in.

He was so friendly and allowed us to come in to enjoy the atmosphere and have a few non-alcoholic drinks.

This place is unique with helping spread support for local artists to hang their artwork on the walls. Be sure to visit each room as each one is different and filled with its own character.

Parking: We went the Saturday after first Friday so there was a stage outside the bar. There's plenty of outside space, and since it's in SouthTown, I'm sure there's tons to observe.

If you are in San Antonio, you have to visit the Jewel 1102 on S. Alamo. We've stopped at this place because has a sign as a coffee bar, but it is more than that. Its set on a historic building that has a special charm, having walls full of art and so many places and little corners to seat. Also front and back terrace for events. Not to mention the piano in one of the rooms featuring calm and enjoying tunes. Very pleased with this jewel, it made me feel at home.

From the reviews and overall vibe, this looks like a lovely little gem in this neighborhood! Can’t wait to visit one day. However…there are houses right next door for travelers who want to enjoy the King William area but also want a quiet place to sleep. It looks like you guys close at midnight but more often than not, you have folks hanging around in the back courtyard that seem to have really enjoyed the cocktails that I’m sure are fabulous but it means a lot of noise at 2am or later. Just a note to make sure patrons know to consider the neighbors ?

This place is so cute and totally embodies the cool neighborhood atmosphere! I love the art and the vibe, and their trivia night is so fun!
