Man the Szechuan poached white fish was literally 10/10 Umami. Never had something give me a roller coaster of a taste experience. I came here for xiolangbao and everything else just sealed the deal.

Also the tiger tea was great without honey. In my opinion it doesn’t need anything to be flavorful.

Great service and the waiter was happy explaining Szechuan cooking styles ie how you prepare specific meats.

Had a really good day and was looking forward to Chinese food and a cozy night in. We ordered Szechuan spicy chicken, xiao long bao, and steamed rice. The dumplings were so dry! And the chicken tastes like it was dipped in laundry detergent. It’s so gross and upsetting. Never again.

The fish soup was not good. The plate they replaced it with was super salty. I really wanted to find a good solution and something I liked, but the staff hardly speak English. But they were good at saying my apologies as we left.

My experience there was great we were greeted by two women very kind and were seated quickly and after we ordered our food had came out fast then other restaurants you go too there’s a slight language barrier but everyone is nice and I definitely recommend to anyone who’s visiting or who lives in the San Antonio area.

This is our second time dining at this restaurant, and our experience was just as enjoyable as before.
The food was quite good, but what impressed us the most was their outstanding service.
Every front-of-house staff member was very attentive and warm, making us feel truly cared for.
We especially enjoyed their pork intestines pot and xiaolongbao.

Tiger has become one of my preferred restaurants. The food tastes amazing and the portions are plentiful. The staff are attentive and friendly.

The soup dumplings are addicting I ordered them 3 days in a row. Everything I’ve tried here was literally perfect. The shrimp fried rice, ragoons, beef noodle soup and beef wraps were a a1. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant and I’m looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. The staff have immaculate customer service and are so kind. I really hope this business gets bigger and gets the clout they deserve.

I’ve always liked this restaurant, but I won’t be returning after my experience last night. While eating, I pulled a long hair—about 5 inches—straight out of my mouth. It was absolutely disgusting. One of the workers actually saw me pulling it out and looked just as shocked as I was. I was so grossed out I ended up throwing up outside. It’s clear the kitchen staff aren’t wearing proper protective gear like hair nets. I’m really disappointed because I used to enjoy coming here, but this experience was unacceptable and made me lose all trust in their hygiene practices.

I have a gluten allergy ( celiac ), and I had my first Sichuan chicken ever delivered on a whim for my birthday dinner.

Of course, that is a crazy thing to do with my allergy, but I read the overwhelmingly positive reviews with others like me and decided to give it a try.

I cannot explain to you how much this food just changed my life. Not only am I not sick, but my tastebuds have actually been enlightened.

Sure, there are fancier looking Chinese food restaurants in San Antonio than this, but the food simply just isn’t better! My favorite from here is the Sesame seed chicken definitely try the pan fried pork dumplings as an appetizer! The staff is also very attentive and friendly. Don’t miss this place.

Every dish is well cooked and you can ask the chef to add spicy flavor. The boiled fish and po tofu are really spicy and delicious. The spicy and sour potato shreds are also very well done and taste very good.

Translation: All the dishes were well made. You can ask the for the chef to make the dishes more spicy. Spicy poached fish and Mapo tofu were very spicy and numbing. The spicy and sour shredded potato also was very good. It had a good texture.

The flavor of the food is decent but portion is not great. We got take-out today and there is a bug in the rice. I wonder how clean the place/food is now.
