The first time I came, I ordered wings and they came hot and tasty. In my second visit, I ordered burgers for the whole family , and the burgers were hot and delicious! “This is a fantastic hotel for flights in and out of McAllen. We stayed on both ends of our trip. We were able to get very early checkin with it being midweek. The free breakfast is fantastic, served to you by the kindest ladies. We ate dinner in the bar restaurant and it was some of the best food we had during our time in Texas. The rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Don’t hesitate to stay here when in McAllen.“
“I had the Roosevelt Club and it was delicious. The service was friendly and fast. There is a ton of cozy outdoor seating. We held a small event here and everyone enjoyed it.Parking: There are a limited number of spots in front of the restaurant but nearby street parking is free“

I ordered the nachos supreme for $10 and added fajita for another $6 and I'll never order that again. The owner/manager should to go Republic of the Rio Grande and order their nachos for $17...that's how they should taste. The service was very mediocre. Drinks sat at the bar, had to ask for water twice, slightly too long between check-ins. Like I said, mediocre. I can live with that, but my tip will reflect that. “This is the place to be on Sunday nights in the valley. No other establishments across the valley can rival it. It's beyond lively with the amount of patrons. However, majority don't show up till midnight or slightly later. Meanwhile, the service at the bar is hit or miss. Possible favoritism with certain people but that is also any bar. Like it's packed, but not Friday/Saturday slammed. Additionally, they include a 20% gratitude. Maybe fellow patrons were being cheap? Idk. For the record, I have yet to eat there. Does have a decent amount of high tables and some booths however.“

The flavor of the charro beans was not as good as it could have been.. the meat from the tacos was old meat and the seasoning was not tasty at all... we left and now we are all hungry lol. The music was not pleasant for kids the song was saying open your legs so I can eat u in spanish and I didn't appreciate ? the music. I thought it would be more kid friendly. I was so excited to go. Had been wanting to go for a month. We finally did and I was disappointed. We let management know just so they know about the meat. Then the bar tender was staring hard core we felt bad. I feel like I'd rather know than not know something about my business TAQUITO LOCO was good! Pizza looked good didn't get to try it.“
