I've been eating there since 1984. Haven't been in a while because I live in North Austin now, but every time I go to San Marcos or even on my way to San Antonio, I always eat there. Not sure if Richard still runs the place, but best Mexican food I have ever eaten. And, I grew up in Corpus!
Even my Mom, who lives in Arkansas orders tamales from him for her parties and he overnights them to her.

was some of the best enchiladas and tacos o have ever eaten. service for one man in the place was great. we had our food within 10 minutes of arriving.
Nice neighborhood family Mexican restaurant! And the bonus,,,,, BYOB!
