Found this little jewel while traveling to San Angelo, TX.The now, proud owner returned to his home town of San Saba to find this old 1930s something Gulf Station in desperate need of some TLC. He could see the potential so he purchased the property and then spent the next few years painstakingly restoring the building. His hard work certainly paid off!While the menu is not extensive, it is filled with some great options. I had a quesadilla that was one of the best I've ever had. My husband had the Durango sandwich also delicious. Everything is made to order so you have time to kick back and enjoy the place.The owner, "Head Honcho" ( an Aggie graduate) took our order and served us. We couldn't have asked for better service. A very enjoyable experience. We'll be sure to stop in on our next trip.“
