I love finding awesome small businesses! Found this little jewel while traveling to San Angelo, TX.The now, proud owner returned to his home town of San Saba to find this old 1930s something Gulf Station in desperate need of some TLC. He could see the potential so he purchased the property and then spent the next few years painstakingly restoring the building. The Gobbler Burger is a strong contender to be one of the best burgers I've ever eaten, hands-down. The vegetables were very high quality, and the meat was extremely delicious. Love, Love, LOVE this little diner! The ambience and food are worth the trip for lunch or dinner! I could sit in there for hours just reminiscing. The owner and staff also make the experience wonderful! The first thing I would recommend would be there Burgers! They are delicious! There malts and shakes are AMAZING for the perfect companion to any meal!
